miHoYo’s Petit Planet Closed Beta Confirmed for April

Developer miHoYo announced on April 1, 2026, that it will host a closed beta test for its upcoming cosmic life simulation game, Petit Planet.
Known as the Stardrift Test, this phase is scheduled to begin on April 21, 2026, and will be available to players on PC, iOS, and Android devices.
While a specific conclusion date for the event has not been disclosed, interested participants can currently register for a chance to join through the game’s official website.
The upcoming test supports a wide array of languages for text, including English, Japanese, French, Russian, Thai, Indonesian, and Simplified Chinese, along with voice-over options in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
Players in Petit Planet assume the role of a Planet Tender, tasked with managing their own celestial home within the vast Starsea.
The gameplay loop features cozy activities such as farming, fishing, cooking, and decorating, allowing for a personalized experience as players shape their world’s landscape.
The Stardrift Test will introduce new fuzzy Neighbors for players to interact with, alongside expanded social activities at the Galactic Bazaar hub.
New features include the Starsea Voyage, where players can use vehicles to explore various Islets with their companions.
At the Galactic Bazaar, community members can engage in social events like auctions, fortune-telling, and dancing to foster connections with other players.
Although currently confirmed for PC and mobile platforms, miHoYo stated that additional platforms for the multiplayer title are presently in development.
