Hello Kitty Island Adventure City Town DLC Announced

Developer Sunblink has announced the upcoming release of the City Town downloadable content for Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which is scheduled to launch on April 16, 2026.

The expansion will be available across all current platforms, including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC via Steam, and Apple Arcade.

This update introduces a new region called City Town, a rainbow metropolis that features towering skylines and a variety of new mysteries to solve.
Players can look forward to over 30 hours of new gameplay content and more than 90 additional quests to complete within the urban setting.

The update brings a new character named U*SA*HA*NA, who helps players renovate and manage the customizable Imagination Cafe.

By interacting with U*SA*HA*NA, players can unlock 35 unique friendship levels that offer various rewards and benefits.

The Imagination Cafe allows for the creation of numerous treats such as mochi, dango, and boba tea to share with Sanrio companions.

Seven new establishments will be available to build alongside friends like Kuromi, My Sweet Piano, and Tuxedosam, including a plushie boutique and an arcade.

New visitors, including Pannya-chan, Buppyu-kun, Wanwa-chan, Sora-kun, and Nyako-chan, will arrive in the city, requiring players to prepare apartments in the Rainbow Tower.

The developer has also teased a mysterious cameo guest who is expected to appear within the new metropolis.
