Make your own Chiikawa sweets with new candy kit from MegaHouse

A new candy kit by hobby goods manufacturer MegaHouse will allow fans of Chiikawa to make their very own adorable sweet versions of the series’ characters.
The “Chiikawa Muchauwa Sweets Bar Maker” is a new kit designed to allow fans to create themed dessert bars shaped just like Chiikawa and friends.

Chiikawa is a popular Japanese manga and anime series known for its adorable, often melancholic, characters and relatable slice-of-life scenarios.
The franchise has grown in popularity through social media and merchandise, making it a fitting subject for a creative cooking kit.

Chiikawa has been in the headlines lately, with a recent McDonald’s collaboration being heavily targeted by resellers who left huge amounts of food waste whilst hoarding Chiikawa themed Happy Meal toys.
The “Chiikawa Muchauwa Sweets Bar Maker” provides tools for crafting dessert bars featuring six different characters from the series: Chiikawa, Hachiware, Kurimanju, Momonga, Rakko, and Usagi.

The set includes six sticks, one spoon, one blender, and two mold trays, all designed for reusability after washing.
It also comes with a special recipe guide, enabling users to create treats that closely resemble the characters.

This allows fans to engage with the franchise in a new, interactive way, combining confectionery with character artistry.

The “Chiikawa Muchauwa Sweets Bar Maker” is priced at 4,950 yen (tax included) and pre-orders are now open via Premium Bandai with delivery expected in October 2025.
In addition to Premium Bandai, the product will also be available at Chiikawa Land stores, Chiikawa Market, and various toy retailers nationwide.
