Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Reveals New Dark Side of Dimensions 10th Anniversary Card Collection
Image by Charlotte DavisKonami has officially revealed three brand-new Yu-Gi-Oh! cards created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Dark Side of Dimensions, alongside additional details of the movie’s special trading card collection.
The “Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS 10th ANNIVERSARY MOVIE BOX” will feature new monsters and Trap Cards based on the 2016 movie, as well as returning cards from its most memorable duels, with every card receiving an Ultra Rare or higher finish.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions was released in 2016 as a direct continuation of Kazuki Takahashi’s original manga, reuniting Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba, and several other characters following the conclusion of the original story.

The movie follows Kaiba’s determination to reconstruct the Millennium Puzzle and challenge Atem once again, with the appearance of a mysterious young man named Aigami threatening to disrupt his plans.

Released to celebrate the manga’s 20th anniversary, The Dark Side of Dimensions also introduced several monsters and cards that subsequently became part of the official Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.

For the latest anniversary collection, Konami has unveiled three original cards inspired by the film’s characters and battles, including a powerful new version of Yugi’s Gandora.

The newly revealed cards are:
- “Gandora-X the Blackmetal Rampaging Dragon”

A Level 8 DARK Dragon monster with an effect that allows it to be Special Summoned when added from the Deck to the player’s hand through methods other than drawing.
Once summoned, players can pay half their Life Points to destroy other monsters on the field, inflict damage based on the strongest opposing monster destroyed, and increase Gandora-X’s own Attack Points.
If destroyed, Gandora-X can also add a copy of “Final Geas” from the Deck to the player’s hand.
The card will be available in both a standard Ultra Rare finish and a special Prismatic Secret Rare Overframe version, making it one of four cards in the anniversary collection to receive this premium treatment.
- “Time Chain”

A Continuous Trap Card that temporarily removes battling monsters from play, preventing them from being destroyed during combat and allowing them to return after a specified period.
The card can also negate the effects of monsters sharing the names of those banished and allows its controller to search for a monster instead of performing their normal draw.
- “Warrior’s Devotion”

A Normal Trap Card that sends a Warrior monster from the player’s hand or Deck to the Graveyard, reducing an opponent’s monster’s Attack Points by an amount equal to the sent monster’s Attack.
It can also be banished from the Graveyard to protect a Warrior monster from destruction by battle or card effects.
The English names are currently based on translations of the Japanese card reveals, with official international names yet to be confirmed.
Konami has also confirmed several returning cards from The Dark Side of Dimensions, including “Dark Magician”, “Dark Magician Girl”, “Silent Swordsman LV5”, “Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition” and “Palladium Oracle Mahad”.
Other reprints include “Lord Gaia the Fierce Knight”, “Celtic Guard of Noble Arms”, “Clear Kuriboh”, “Chocolate Magician Girl”, “Berry Magician Girl”, “Apple Magician Girl” and “Kiwi Magician Girl”, alongside numerous Spell and Trap Cards used during the movie’s duels.
“Lemon Magician Girl” will also receive a special Ultra Rare Overframe version, featuring artwork that extends outside the usual card illustration border.

The complete anniversary box will contain 56 different card types, with all 56 available in Ultra Rare finishes, alongside several additional premium variations.
Four cards will receive Prismatic Secret Rare Overframe versions, 20 will also be available as Secret Rares, and nine will feature Ultra Rare Overframe designs.
These special treatments build on the new Overframe card format introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG earlier in 2026, which allows illustrations to extend across the card’s traditional borders.

The collection’s packaging will also feature the original movie’s promotional artwork, connecting the anniversary release directly to the theatrical feature.

The card box is arriving alongside several other celebrations marking the film’s 10th anniversary, including the official return of The Dark Side of Dimensions to Japanese cinemas on November 20, 2026.

The anniversary screenings will take place across 57 cinemas, with exclusive Kazuki Takahashi artwork distributed to attendees and special audio commentary featuring the Japanese voice actors behind Yugi and Kaiba.

The celebrations also form part of Yu-Gi-Oh!’s wider 30th anniversary year, marking three decades since the original manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 1996.
The “Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS 10th ANNIVERSARY MOVIE BOX” is scheduled for release in Japan on December 19, 2026, priced at ¥4,950 (approximately $31 / £24).

Each box will contain 10 packs of five cards, for a total of 50 cards, with Konami confirming that individual packs will not be sold separately.
The collection has currently been announced for the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG, with no international TCG release confirmed.
