Huge New Statue of Steel Ball Run’s Gyro Zeppeli Is Surprisingly Affordable

Japanese figure manufacturer Medicos Entertainment has fully revealed an impressive new statue based on the acclaimed manga “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run”.
Written by Hirohiko Araki, this seventh installment of the long-running epic shifts the action to an alternate timeline in late 19th-century America.

The plot follows a grueling, cross-country horse race spanning from San Diego to New York City, where participants battle harsh environments and deadly rivals for a massive grand prize.
During this dangerous journey, an unlikely alliance forms between the paraplegic former jockey Johnny Joestar and the eccentric Neapolitan executioner Gyro Zeppeli.

Gyro utilizes a mystical technique known as the Spin, a unique discipline involving the rotation of specialized steel balls.
The new Super Action Statue Art Collection “Gyro Zeppeli & Valkyrie” perfectly captures his dynamic energy.

Standing at an impressive height of over 30 cm, this large-scale piece depicts Gyro confidently riding his beloved horse, Valkyrie, while readying one of his signature steel balls for an attack.

The sculpt incorporates an incredible amount of detail, right down to Gyro’s facial expression, which looks as though he is about to let out his iconic laugh.
Despite the massive volume of this intricately designed piece, it is being offered at a surprisingly accessible price point.

The Super Action Statue Art Collection “Gyro Zeppeli & Valkyrie” will retail for 28,600 yen (approx. $184 USD / £145 GBP).
Alongside this reveal, Medicos Entertainment also teased that a companion piece featuring Johnny Joestar and his horse Slow Dancer is scheduled to open for pre-orders in May, with the full design set to be revealed shortly.

Pre-orders for the Gyro Zeppeli and Valkyrie statue will also open in May, though an exact start date has not yet been confirmed.
Once pre-orders begin, collectors will be able to secure both statues through general hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
