Jujutsu Kaisen Announces 5th Official Stage Play as Full Cast Revealed
The next chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen stage play series has officially been announced, with Stage Jujutsu Kaisen -Shibuya Incident Part 1- set to bring one of the manga’s most intense story arcs to theaters this November.
Created by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen follows Yuji Itadori after he becomes entangled in the world of Jujutsu Sorcerers by consuming one of Sukuna’s cursed fingers, leading him into a battle against powerful Curses while fighting to protect humanity alongside his classmates and mentors.
The new production will adapt the opening half of the fan-favorite Shibuya Incident arc, which is widely regarded as one of the series’ biggest turning points thanks to its large-scale battles, emotional character moments and shocking twists.
Much of the principal cast from previous productions will return, including Ryūji Satō as Yuji Itadori, Ryōsuke Miura as Satoru Gojo, Gaku Kumazawa as Megumi Fushiguro, Nonoka Yamaguchi as Nobara Kugisaki, Rei Fujita as Suguru Geto, Mondo Yamagishi as Jogo and Ryōsuke Ikeoka as Choso.
Several characters will also make their stage debut in this production, with Yūki Kamisato joining as Mahito alongside new cast members Rihito Tachibana and Hiroto Kuroiwa sharing the role of Ui Ui, Soma Suzuki as Naobito Zenin, Kanon Maekawa as Kasumi Miwa and Kento Sampei as Haruta Shigemo.
The wider supporting cast includes Rina Takeda as Maki Zenin, Takeshi Terayama as Panda, Yuta Tachibana as Kento Nanami, Riona Tatemichi as Mei Mei, Kouhei Shiota as Kokichi Muta, Ami Kiuchi as Utahime Iori, Yoshihiro Minami as Hanami, Kakudo Igarashi as Sukuna Ryōmen, Yūki Kubota as Tōji Fushiguro, Yūka Ide as Mimiko Hasaba, Miki Yagi as Nanako Hasaba, Chisato Minami as Manami Suda and Kai Kitamura as Laru.
Kensaku Kobayashi returns to direct the production, while Yūki Kubota, who also portrays Tōji Fushiguro, is writing the script.
The Jujutsu Kaisen stage play series first debuted in 2022 before continuing with adaptations of the Kyoto Goodwill Event and Origin of Obedience arcs, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, making the Shibuya Incident the fifth major stage production based on the franchise.
The announcement also continues a busy period for Jujutsu Kaisen, with the anime recently airing Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 and a fourth season, The Culling Game Part 2, already confirmed.
Stage Jujutsu Kaisen -Shibuya Incident Part 1- will run at Shibuya LOVEZ in Tokyo from November 14 to November 23, 2026, before moving to Sky Theater MBS in Osaka from November 28 to November 29, 2026.
