MAPPA Reveals First Trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game Part 2
A fresh look at the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen’s anime adaptation has arrived, with new footage offering fans an early glimpse at the intense battles awaiting them in Season 4’s “Culling Game Part 2” storyline.
The newly released teaser trailer showcases a series of high-stakes confrontations as the chaos of the deadly Culling Game continues to escalate.
Created by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump between March 2018 and September 2025 and became one of the most successful manga series of its generation.
The story follows Yuji Itadori and a growing cast of sorcerers who battle deadly curses born from negative human emotions while confronting increasingly dangerous supernatural threats.
The television anime adaptation first premiered in October 2020 and quickly established itself as a global hit through its blend of action, horror, and emotional storytelling.
Earlier in 2026, the anime’s third season, “Culling Game Part 1,” brought viewers into the brutal survival contest orchestrated by the notorious sorcerer Kenjaku, setting the stage for the conflicts still to come.
The new “Culling Game Part 2” teaser highlights several of the arc’s most anticipated battles through a rapid succession of action-heavy scenes.
Among the clashes featured are Kinji Hakari unleashing his techniques against Hajime Kashimo, Maki Zenin demonstrating her overwhelming physical power, and Choso standing against Kenjaku.
The preview also offers glimpses of Yuki Tsukumo entering the conflict while Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro appear locked in desperate struggles of their own.
The footage emphasizes the increasingly unstable world of the Culling Game, where every battle appears to push the situation further toward catastrophe.
Additional promotional content was also revealed during the MAPPA Lineup Presentation broadcast, which aired through the studio’s official YouTube channel on June 19.
As part of the event, a special edition of the Jujutsu Kaisen discussion program featured voice actors Junya Enoki, who plays Yuji Itadori, and Megumi Ogata, the voice of Yuta Okkotsu.
The archived version of that presentation is now available for fans who want a closer look at the newly announced information.
A second installment of the special talk program has also been released through the official TOHO Animation YouTube channel.
In the follow-up discussion, Enoki and Ogata respond to fan-submitted messages while sharing a more relaxed conversation about the series and its continuing development.
Another major announcement surrounding “Culling Game Part 2” is the confirmation that Takeshi Sato will serve as the season’s director.
Sato previously directed the Zombieland Saga movie and also contributed to Jujutsu Kaisen’s third season as both episode director and assistant director.
Commenting on the new role, Sato acknowledged the responsibility that comes with leading an adaptation of such a widely loved series and expressed gratitude for the dedication shown by the staff and cast who have helped build the anime’s success so far.
He explained that the team intends to preserve the creative strengths and visual identity that Jujutsu Kaisen has developed over the years while striving to bring the source material’s appeal to life through animation in the strongest way possible.
Sato also emphasized that the production team is approaching the project with sincerity and commitment, while encouraging fans to look forward to what is still to come from the next stage of the Culling Game storyline.
