The Apothecary Diaries themed onsen experience launches in Japan this June

Hit anime series The Apothecary Diaries will take over one of Japan’s top spa resort chains this June as part of a new collaboration.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of other Apothecary Diaries themed team ups that have included a partnership with a real-life pharmacy and the unveiling of attractions based on the series that will open at Universal Studios Japan this summer.

The Apothecary Diaries will also be heading to Universal Studios this year

The new collaboration will see the launch of a number of different The Apothecary Diaries themed events at spa resort chain ‘Raku Spa’, who also operate a number of other resorts under the ‘Gokuraku-yu’ brand.

Based on previous collaborations, such as a recently announced ‘Pokémon’ themed spa experience, fans can expect themed baths and interior decorations throughout participating resorts.

Pokémon’s Team Rocket will be taking over “Raku Spa” in April and May

Most anime themed events at Raku Spa also see some stores offer a collaboration food menu, with a menu based on elements of the series, as well as the sale of exclusive merchandise based on the promotional art for the event.

Specific dates for the ‘The Apothecary Diaries x Raku Spa’ collab are yet to be announced and more information regarding the experiences on offer will be revealed closer to the start of the collaboration in June 2025.
