Super Psychic Policeman Chojo Anime Set for October Premiere

The comedic buddy cop manga Super Psychic Policeman Chojo is officially receiving a television anime adaptation scheduled to premiere in October 2025.
This new series will anchor Fuji TV’s recently established Ka-Anival! anime programming block.

Meguru Chojo, a lazy officer with telekinetic abilities, and his partner Nao Ippongi, a highly skilled judo expert, serve as the primary protagonists for the production.
Director Junichi Yamamoto is leading the project at Arvo Animation, with Hayashi Mori handling series composition and Masakatsu Sasaki overseeing character designs.

The original manga by Shun Numa ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2024 until June 2025 and was compiled into eight volumes in Japan.
English readers can access the series through VIZ Media, which follows the duo as they solve crimes at the West Chinjuku Police Station while navigating Chojo’s reluctance to work.
The plot centers on the partnership between the two leads as they protect Ippongi’s family dojo from yakuza threats and bumble through various criminal investigations.
