PokéPark Kanto has announced a series of major changes to its ticketing and admission system that will make it much easier for families and larger groups to visit the popular Pokémon attraction from later this year.

PokéPark Kanto is a permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction located inside Yomiuriland in Tokyo, allowing visitors to explore themed areas inspired by the world of Pokémon through interactive experiences and attractions.

The largest change increases the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased through both the lottery and first-come, first-served sales from two to six, making it far easier for larger groups of friends and families to plan a visit together.

The expanded ticket limit will apply to admission dates from November 1, 2026 onwards.

Previously, visitors holding Trainer’s Pass or Town Pass tickets could already enjoy the attraction in groups of three or more by linking their reservations through the official app.

However, doing so required multiple members of the group to secure separate successful lottery reservations beforehand, making it difficult for larger parties to coordinate a visit.

By increasing the purchase limit to six tickets, the updated system removes much of that inconvenience and allows significantly larger groups to book together in a single reservation.

The Elite Trainer’s Pass will remain unchanged and will still be limited to a maximum of two tickets per purchase because it includes additional benefits such as unrestricted access to the Pokémon Forest area without requiring a timed entry reservation.

Visitors will also gain more opportunities to enter the lottery, with the maximum number of applications during a single lottery period increasing from one to three, although each applicant can still only win once per lottery period.

Another welcome addition is the introduction of advance ticket cancellations for unused tickets purchased after the official website is updated on August 1, replacing the previous policy that did not allow cancellations for personal reasons.

Alongside the more flexible booking options, PokéPark Kanto will introduce mandatory identity verification for all guests visiting from November 1, 2026 onwards.

Admission staff will compare each visitor’s identification against the information provided during booking, and guests who cannot verify their identity will not be permitted to enter the attraction.

The updated ticket purchasing rules will be reflected on the official PokéPark Kanto website from August 1, with the new booking system applying to visits from November 1, 2026 onwards, and visitors are encouraged to remember to bring valid identification on the day of their visit.
