Bandai Fully Reveals New Gundam SEED DESTINY Gunpla Kit Ahead of Release

Bandai has fully revealed its latest Gundam SEED DESTINY Gunpla kit, giving fans their best look yet at the HG 1/144 Gouf Ignited (Heine Westenfluss Custom) ahead of its launch later this week.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny is the direct sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, following a new generation of pilots while continuing the conflict between ZAFT and the Earth Alliance, with several returning characters and Mobile Suits playing major roles throughout the series.

The Gouf Ignited piloted by Heine Westenfluss becomes one of the series’ most recognizable custom Mobile Suits thanks to its distinctive orange color scheme and its association with the popular ZAFT ace, who was voiced by T.M.Revolution/Takanori Nishikawa.

This completely redesigned HGCE release has been newly sculpted from the ground up while incorporating the SEED Action System, allowing for a wider range of dynamic poses inspired by scenes from the anime.

Its Beam Sword has been engineered with a built-in storage and extension mechanism that can be displayed without the need to swap any parts.

The Slayer Whip is included in both extended and curved configurations, with the weapon’s superheated state recreated through specially molded colored plastic.

A backpack connected using a standard 3 mm single-axis joint allows it to be exchanged with compatible Gunpla kits, giving builders additional customization possibilities.

An additional open right hand is also included, making it possible to recreate the Mobile Suit’s signature Gatling firing poses from the series.

The HG 1/144 Gouf Ignited (Heine Westenfluss Custom) will be released on July 11, 2026, via general hobby retailers such as HobbyLink Japan, and is priced at ¥2,860 (approx. $19 USD / £14 GBP).
