Pokémon and New Era Reveal 30th Anniversary Cap and Apparel Collection

New Era is celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary with a huge new fashion collection featuring some of the franchise’s most popular characters across caps, T-shirts, and accessories.
The new “Pokémon 30th Anniversary” collection includes 25 designs for adults and children, with embroidered artwork featuring Pokémon such as Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, and Eevee alongside commemorative anniversary logos.

New Era is an American headwear and lifestyle brand best known for its baseball caps, particularly the 59FIFTY fitted cap, with its designs also becoming a major part of streetwear fashion around the world.

Pokémon officially celebrated its 30th anniversary in February 2026, marking three decades since Pokémon Red and Green first launched for the Game Boy in Japan and introduced the original 151 Pokémon.

The New Era collection draws heavily from that first generation, featuring Bulbasaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charizard, Squirtle, Blastoise, Pikachu, Ditto, Eevee, Mewtwo and Mew, alongside second-generation Pokémon Pichu.

Each Pokémon is represented through embroidered artwork, while other designs incorporate a special 30th anniversary logo created for the milestone.

New Era has previously partnered with several other Japanese entertainment franchises, including a Sanrio cap collection featuring Hello Kitty, Kuromi and Cinnamoroll and a Gundam collaboration that recently received an official US release.

The new “Pokémon 30th Anniversary” collection will officially launch in Japan on November 20, 2026, through New Era stores nationwide, the official New Era Japan online store, and participating retailers.
Although New Era operates internationally, a corresponding US launch for this particular anniversary collection has not yet been announced.
