My Hero Academia Launches New DIY-Themed 30th Anniversary Merch Collection

A special anniversary event celebrating 10 years of the My Hero Academia television anime has been announced and will take place at 21 Hands and Hands Be stores across Japan from July 24 to August 23, 2026.
The fair will feature a wide selection of exclusive merchandise, including newly illustrated DIY-themed character artwork, a commemorative revival collection looking back on a decade of anime visuals, and a range of chibi-style goods inspired by Japanese sukajan jackets.
My Hero Academia is based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi and follows Izuku Midoriya and his classmates as they train to become professional heroes in a world where superhuman abilities known as Quirks are commonplace.

The event’s original illustrations depict the heroes dressed in workwear and carrying tools, reflecting the fair’s DIY theme and offering a fresh take on familiar characters.
One of the most talked-about aspects of the new artwork is the appearance of Toru Hagakure with her face visible, a rare sight for fans as her invisibility Quirk normally leaves only her clothing visible.

The DIY merchandise series, scheduled for advance release on July 24, includes acrylic stands available in six designs for ¥1,760 each (approx. $12 USD/ £9 GBP).

Trading acrylic keychains featuring six designs will be sold for ¥770 each (approx. $5 USD/ £4 GBP), while clear files and stickers featuring the same artwork will be available for ¥495 (approx. $3 USD/ £2.50 GBP) and ¥550 (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP) respectively.

Fans can also pick up trading matte-finish can badges in six designs for ¥550 each (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP), along with signboard-style wooden clips available in six variations for ¥770 each (approx. $5 USD/ £4 GBP).

Additional DIY-themed items include a craft-style sticker sheet priced at ¥770 (approx. $5 USD/ £4 GBP), a clear card set for ¥1,430 (approx. $10 USD/ £7 GBP), and a magnetic sheet for ¥990 (approx. $7 USD/ £5 GBP).

The DIY collection incorporates tools, aprons and workshop-inspired elements into its character artwork, resulting in a lineup that reflects the atmosphere of Hands stores.
A separate DIY Deformed Series transforms the same illustrations into chibi-style designs and includes trading can badges in six varieties for ¥495 each (approx. $3 USD/ £2.50 GBP), trading mini acrylic blocks in six designs for ¥880 each (approx. $6 USD/ £4.50 GBP), stickers in six designs for ¥550 each (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP), and a clear file priced at ¥495 (approx. $3 USD/ £2.50 GBP).

The miniature acrylic blocks are designed to be displayed together and form one of the highlights of the deformed merchandise range.
A special Anime 10th Anniversary Revival Series will also launch on July 24 and revisits artwork from throughout the anime’s decade-long history.
Postcard sets containing 10 cards each will be available in both Set A and Set B formats for ¥1,320 (approx. $9 USD/ £7 GBP) per set.

Trading Clear Art Cards will be sold in packs containing three cards for ¥1,045 (approx. $7 USD/ £5 GBP) per pack, with Volumes 1 and 2 each featuring 41 designs and Volume 3 containing 45 designs.

Trading sticker packs containing three stickers each will be available for ¥660 (approx. $5 USD/ £4 GBP), with Volumes 1 and 2 offering 41 designs each and Volume 3 including 45 designs.

Combined across all volumes, the revival collection features well over 100 designs showcasing visuals from the anime’s 10-year run.
A second advance-release collection titled Wear It! SUKAJAN Deformed Series will join the fair from August 7.
This range features chibi-style versions of Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Neito Monoma and Hitoshi Shinso wearing sukajan jackets.
The collection includes trading mini acrylic stands in five designs for ¥880 each (approx. $6 USD/ £4.50 GBP), trading can badges in five designs for ¥495 each (approx. $3 USD/ £2.50 GBP), stickers in five designs for ¥550 each (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP), and a clear file priced at ¥495 (approx. $3 USD/ £2.50 GBP).

Customers who spend ¥2,000 on My Hero Academia merchandise (approx. $14 USD/ £10 GBP) will receive one randomly selected exclusive postcard from a collection of eight newly illustrated designs while supplies last.

The postcard giveaway is exclusive to participating Hands locations and is distributed at random.
