Dandadan Reveals New Official Smartwatch Collection Starring Okarun, Momo, Aira, Jiji and Turbo Granny

Dandadan is turning five of its main characters into interactive smartwatches that react to notifications, movement and other everyday activity with animations inspired by the supernatural anime.
The new “GARRACK × Dandadan Smartwatch” collection includes individual models based on Momo, Okarun, Aira, Jiji and Turbo Granny in her lucky cat form, combining character-colored straps with animated watch faces and practical health and fitness functions.

Based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga, Dandadan follows Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, better known as Okarun, after their opposing beliefs in ghosts and aliens lead them into encounters with both, with the original manga surpassing 14 million copies in circulation as of August 2026.

Science SARU’s anime adaptation has completed two seasons since debuting in 2024, while Dandadan Season 3 is officially scheduled to premiere in 2027 following the cliffhanger that closed its second season.

GARRACK has built each watch face around a different character-specific interaction, with notifications treated as encounters that cause Momo, Okarun, Aira and Jiji to change appearance while other icons from the series appear alongside them.

The background graphics are animated as well, with swirling patterns and character-specific objects changing every second so the display remains in motion even when a notification has not arrived.
Let’s take a look at the five designs!
- Momo Model

Incoming notifications are presented as enemy encounters, causing Momo to switch into a pose using her psychic powers while a Serpoian icon appears on screen, with the background adding moving UFOs and a constantly shifting swirl.

- Okarun Model

Okarun transforms when a notification arrives and is joined by a Turbo Granny icon, while the animated background combines a rotating swirl with Turbo Granny’s moving silhouette.

- Aira Model

Aira also changes into her transformed appearance when the watch receives a notification, accompanied by a Serpoian icon, while makeup-themed graphics move through the background alongside the swirling pattern.

- Jiji Model

Jiji transforms when alerts arrive and is joined by an icon of Taro, with moving soccer balls incorporated into his animated background.

- Turbo Granny (Lucky Cat) Model

Turbo Granny’s watch uses the wearer’s step count instead of a transformation gimmick, changing her pose as more steps are recorded before cycling back to the first animation after 10,000 steps, while notifications trigger a separate Turbo Granny icon.

All five watches also provide shortcuts for checking step count and heart rate directly from their character-themed faces, while the wider smartwatch functions include sleep monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, stress tracking through heart-rate variability and 100 workout modes.
The watches weigh approximately 16 g without their straps and support both iOS and Android through the HUAWEI Health app, with remote music controls, a camera shutter, alarms, weather information and smartphone finding among the other included functions.

Battery life is rated at up to around 14 days under standard use, while a five-minute quick charge provides approximately two days of use and heavier usage reduces the estimated battery life to around eight days.
Each character model comes with its own colored strap and a separate black replacement band for a more understated look, with the straps designed to be removed and swapped using a push-button mechanism.

The watches are also packaged in dedicated boxes featuring their respective characters, while early buyers will receive a matching changing card whose artwork shifts depending on the viewing angle while supplies last.

The collection arrives just days after Dandadan expanded further into officially licensed gaming hardware through the huge Starforge Systems collection of PCs, keyboards, desk mats and illuminated accessories featuring Momo, Okarun, Turbo Granny and other characters from the series.

That release followed the DAN DA DAN × CASETiFY tech accessory collection earlier this year, which brought the anime to smartphone cases and device accessories with designs based on characters and motifs including Turbo Granny and Okarun’s golden ball.

Pre-orders for all five “GARRACK × Dandadan” smartwatches will open in Japan on November 6, 2026 ahead of their November 27 release through GARRACK’s official online store and participating watch and electronics retailers.
The Momo, Okarun, Aira, Jiji and Turbo Granny models are each priced at ¥10,890 (approximately $69 / £52).
