Pokémon's Sold Out Pikachu Diner Collection Returns for Limited Time Re-Release

Pokémon Center is bringing back its retro PIKACHU DINER collection, giving fans another chance to pick up several of the cafe-inspired items more than a year after the range originally debuted in Japan.

Originally released in July 2025, PIKACHU DINER imagines Pikachu helping out inside a classic diner, combining vintage American restaurant imagery with playful artwork of the Pokémon serving food and interacting with oversized burgers and heart-shaped decorations.

The original collection covered everything from plush toys and accessories to kitchenware and stationery, but this latest release focuses on a smaller selection of returning products rather than bringing the entire range back into production.

Let’s take a look at all of the items that will be returning in this latest re-release of the PIKACHU DINER collection!

One of the biggest returning items is the “PIKACHU DINER Cushion,” priced at ¥7,700 (approx. $48 USD / £36 GBP), which recreates Pikachu sitting on top of an enormous hamburger with a surprised expression.

The “PIKACHU DINER Tote Bag,” priced at ¥4,950 (approx. $31 USD / £23 GBP), brings the collection’s retro diner artwork to a larger everyday bag centered around Pikachu.

The heart-shaped “PIKACHU DINER Pouch,” priced at ¥2,200 (approx. $14 USD / £10 GBP), was created to hold two of the collection’s smaller Pikachu mascots and continues the red, white, and diner-inspired styling used throughout the range.

The “PIKACHU DINER Sticker Set,” priced at ¥880 (approx. $6 USD / £4 GBP), also returns for fans looking for one of the smaller collectibles from the original release.

The “PIKACHU DINER Glass,” priced at ¥2,640 (approx. $17 USD / £12 GBP), features Pikachu alongside a small heart motif and brings the restaurant theme into an item that feels particularly well suited to the collection’s diner setting.

The “PIKACHU DINER Acrylic Keychain Collection” returns at ¥880 (approx. $6 USD / £4 GBP) for a single random design, while the ¥7,040 (approx. $44 USD / £33 GBP) complete box contains all eight designs from the collection.

Pokémon Center is also putting a limited amount of canceled-order stock from previously made-to-order products back on sale, including the sought-after “PIKACHU DINER Pikachu Plush,” originally priced at ¥3,850 (approx. $24 USD / £18 GBP).

The “Heart and Hamburger PIKACHU DINER Mascots,” each priced at ¥1,980 (approx. $12 USD / £9 GBP), are also included among the older products receiving another small window of availability.

With the Pikachu plush and mascots only being available due to order cancellations, it’s likely that availability for these items will be much scarcer than the rest of the PIKACHU DINER re-releases.

All of the returning PIKACHU DINER merchandise will go back on sale through Pokémon Center Online in Japan from 10:00 AM JST on August 19, 2026.
