Orders open for Kotobukiya exclusive 1/7 scale Sekiro “Wolf” statue

Kotobukiya has announced a highly detailed 1/7 scale statue of the protagonist, “Wolf,” from FromSoftware’s acclaimed action-adventure game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, developed by FromSoftware (known for the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring), received widespread critical acclaim for its challenging combat, unique prosthetic arm mechanics, and atmospheric portrayal of a fictionalized Sengoku period Japan.

The game’s intricate lore and visually striking environments have gained a dedicated global fanbase.

Kotobukiya, a Japanese company, is a well-established manufacturer of figures, plastic models, and collectibles, recognized for its attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Standing at an imposing height of approximately 420mm (including the base), the statue is designed to thoroughly recreate the world of Sekiro.

Its composition, sculpting, and material choices aim to capture the fantastical yet vivid aesthetic of the game’s Sengoku era.
The figure of Wolf himself incorporates polyurethane (PU) resin for delicate areas such as frayed cloth, intricate hair ties, prosthetic arm details, and knots, ensuring both rigidity and flexibility.

His primary weapon, the Kusabimaru katana, uses a resin blended with metal for a realistic sense of weight.

The base of the statue is inspired by the Fountainhead Palace, specifically the bridge leading to the Corrupted Monk’s encounter.

It utilizes clear resin and mist-like materials to convey the sense of height and the colossal scale of the surrounding trees.

The grappling hook, extending from Wolf’s prosthetic arm, contains an internal wire, allowing collectors to bend and pose it freely, replicating various wire action moments from the game.

Adding to the immersive experience, the statue includes a life-sized “Sculptor’s Idol” (Okurami Jizo) prop.

This accessory is crafted from a resin mixed with stone materials and features a weathered fabric, aiming to provide a texture identical to its appearance in the game.
The overall concept depicts Wolf in the midst of leaping towards the Corrupted Monk on the bridge before the Okami Gate.
The dynamic pose, from Wolf’s kicking foot to the swaying, flowing large trees, is intended to convey the intensity of that moment.

The statue also meticulously portrays subtle details, such as the sweat and blood stains on Wolf’s skin and clothing, the realistic melting snow on the bridge’s wood and fallen autumn leaves, and the translucent autumn leaves that subtly transmit light through their tips.

Each of these elements is carefully finished with hand-painting.
The “SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE Wolf Statue” is a pre-painted finished figure, with some assembly required. It is constructed from resin, ABS, PVC, and magnets.

This substantial statue is set to launch in March 2026 with a price of ¥85,800 (tax included).
Pre-orders are now open directly with Kotobukiya via their official store.
