New Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Gunpla Kit Fully Revealed Ahead of Release
Bandai Hobby has fully revealed a new Gunpla model kit based on a popular mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz ahead of its release this month.
The “HG 1/144 Gundam Sandrock Custom EW” recreates the upgraded command mobile suit piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner.
High Grade models are the core of the Gunpla hobby due to their accessible 1/144 scale and impressive range of movement.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz is a direct sequel OVA to the original television series, featuring redesigned mobile suits created by mechanical designer Hajime Katoki.
The new and updated “HG 1/144 Gundam Sandrock Custom EW” kit utilizes a newly developed W-series internal frame structure that balances the unique proportions of the screen-accurate design with a detailed range of articulation.
Builders can take advantage of the expanded shoulder mobility to recreate dynamic combat action sequences with the two included signature Heat Shotels for close-quarters melee combat.
These distinctive curved blades feature specialized clear effect parts to replicate their glowing, red-hot activated state.
The kit also includes the mobile suit’s iconic anti-beam coating cloak, which is manufactured using a newly introduced soft and flexible material that allows for natural draping.
This release is just one of a great selection of Gunpla model kits scheduled for release throughout June 2026.
The complete June lineup includes the standard retail release of the “HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ)”, which features a movable mono-eye and fully replicates the intricate mechanics required to shift into its mobile armor mode.
The transforming machine comes equipped with its signature Fedayeen Rifle and Sea Serpent weapon, complete with an included lead wire to simulate mid-air deployment, and will launch on June 26 for 2,860 yen (approx. $18 USD / £14 GBP).
Fans can also look forward to the exclusive “ENTRY GRADE 1/144 Nu Gundam & Fin Funnel [Recirculation Color / Neon Green] Paperless”, which utilizes intuitive touch gates and digital instructions via QR code for 3,190 yen (approx. $20 USD / £16 GBP).

Rounding out the month is the highly detailed exclusive “RG 1/144 Gundam Exia Repair IV”, bringing Graham Aker’s dedicated machine to life with an intricate internal skeleton and a modified Seven Sword loadout for 4,950 yen (approx. $31 USD / £25 GBP).
The “HG 1/144 Gundam Sandrock Custom EW” is priced at 4,180 yen (approx. $26 USD/£21 GBP) and will go on sale at retail stores across Japan and potentially with some international hobby goods retailers on June 6, 2026.
