Voting Opens as Finalists Revealed for LEGO Ideas Pokémon TCG Challenge

The finalists have been revealed for a unique challenge created in partnership between the Pokémon Trading Card Game and LEGO.
The “LEGO Ideas Pokémon Trading Card Game Challenge: Build Your Card” event tasked builders from around the world with creating their very own custom playing card entirely out of LEGO bricks.

Following a massive influx of submissions, the official Pokémon team alongside the LEGO Ideas Review Board have carefully selected the top builds to move forward into the final round.
The ultimate Grand Prize winner will be chosen by the community, with the winning design being officially transformed into a real retail LEGO set.

The voting has now opened, allowing fans to pick their favorite design from the following five incredible finalists:
- The Mythical Arceus

Created by livetobuild, this 999-piece model depicts the legendary creator emerging from a Pokéball and soaring past stars, galaxies, planets, and nebulae.

The fully removable figure features articulated legs and a poseable head, while the Pokéball base functions as a dynamic display stand that represents the classic card back logo.

- ⚡ Joltik Charges Up! ⚡

Designed by Chrixeleon, this build features a fully removable Joltik bursting through a slanted Poké Ball wall to nibble on frayed wires and absorb electricity from an outlet.

The figure matches its actual Pokédex size, standing at an estimated 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall and weighing nearly 1 lb (404 g), and the card includes recognizable gameplay information like HP, typing, and attacks.

- A Mew Soaring High

Builder IsleOh brings the original Psychic-type Mythical #0151 to life, depicting Mew floating among the clouds high above a vibrant countryside landscape.

The scene features a small town, a winding path lined with windmills, and psychic energy bubbles, along with alternate open eyes to give Mew a completely different expression.

- Gyarados: Sunset Splash

CreativeDynamicBuilder spent three weeks assembling this massive 1,262-piece creation, taking an entire week just to perfect the highly detailed head.

The design uses a unique perspective that transitions from a 2D neck into a 3D head, paired with realistic water effects that spill over the card’s border to provide structural stability.

- Rowlet Razor Leaf

Submitted by DMWM, this build moves away from the Grass-type starter’s usual goofy charm to showcase its fierce battle spirit.

The focused owl is depicted mid-attack using the Razor Leaf move, perfectly framed against a detailed forest-inspired background that matches its natural habitat.

To have a say in which of these amazing builds becomes a reality, fans can head over to the official LEGO Ideas platform to cast their ballot.
Voting for this exciting challenge is set to close on June 11, 2026.
