Gundam’s Official hololive Collab Unveils New Sakura Miko x Nu Gundam Premium Figure
Sakura Miko’s pink Nu Gundam is finally becoming an official figure, leading the first commercial releases from Bandai’s Gundam x hololive Production collaboration.
The customized mobile suit will be released through the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line alongside Hoshimachi Suisei’s blue Sazabi, turning two of the crossover’s most recognizable designs into completed figures after months of artwork, prototype displays, and speculation.
Image by James RichardsonThe first pair appropriately brings together the rival RX-93 Nu Gundam and MSN-04 Sazabi from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, but completely reworks their familiar appearances around two of hololive’s biggest talents.
Gundam x hololive Production began earlier in 2026 as a much wider multimedia crossover featuring customized mobile suits, original pilot suits, mini-stories, music, and merchandise centered around individual hololive talents.
Image by Charlotte DavisThe first wave matched Sakura Miko with Nu Gundam, Hoshimachi Suisei with Sazabi, Shirakami Fubuki with Gundam Exia, Houshou Marine with Crossbone Gundam X1, Hakui Koyori with Freedom Gundam, and Rindou Chihaya with Banshee Norn.
A second wave later added Usada Pekora’s Unicorn Gundam, Oozora Subaru’s Wing Gundam Zero EW, Tsunomaki Watame’s Providence Gundam, Mori Calliope’s Gundam Epyon, IRyS’ Destiny Gundam, and Todoroki Hajime’s Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina.
The possibility of a completed version of Miko’s Nu Gundam has existed since hololive SUPER EXPO 2026, where Bandai displayed a METAL ROBOT SPIRITS-style prototype alongside Gunpla paint samples and other reference merchandise without confirming a retail release.
That concept has now officially reached production as the “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS
Pink and white dominate the armor, with cherry blossom imagery appearing across the front skirt and additional Sakura Miko-inspired markings applied to the left shoulder and shield.
The figure also carries the custom model number “MS-035,” with the “35” serving as a long-established numerical reference to Miko through Japanese wordplay and also appearing in the name of her fanbase, 35P.
The reference fits particularly well within the Gundam setting, allowing a number closely associated with Sakura Miko to double as a convincing mobile suit-style designation.
At approximately 15 cm tall, the Nu Gundam uses ABS, PVC and die-cast components, with metal parts concentrated around the joints to give the articulated model additional weight while retaining the movement expected from METAL ROBOT SPIRITS.
Its weapon loadout remains suitably extensive, with a Beam Rifle, two types of Beam Saber, New Hyper Bazooka, shield and all six Fin Funnels included.
Dedicated display components allow the Funnels to be positioned separately from the Nu Gundam during attack poses, while Beam Saber effects, interchangeable hands and joint parts provide further display options.
Bandai has also created an original collaboration display base specifically for the figure rather than simply reusing the stand from the standard release.

The figure uses the existing METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Sazabi as its base, while new collaboration markings have been applied across both shoulders, the front skirt and shield.
Its custom designation is “SH-0-322,” with the 322 portion referencing Suisei’s March 22 birthday and giving the mobile suit its own identity within the crossover.
The completed Sazabi stands approximately 16 cm tall and again combines ABS and PVC with die-cast components positioned around the articulated structure.
Its accessories include the Beam Shot Rifle, shield and Beam Tomahawk alongside six deployed Funnel parts, allowing the mobile suit’s remote weapons to be displayed in flight.
Beam Saber and Beam Tomahawk effects are also included, together with Funnel display components, interchangeable hands and a dedicated collaboration base and support arm.
METAL ROBOT SPIRITS combines detailed painted finishes and die-cast construction with extensive articulation, making the line a more substantial interpretation of the collaboration designs than the reference Gunpla color schemes previously shown for the project.
For now, Bandai has only confirmed Miko’s Nu Gundam and Suisei’s Sazabi for commercial release, leaving ten previously revealed hololive mobile suit designs without corresponding METAL ROBOT SPIRITS announcements.
There is still plenty of room for the figure collection to expand, particularly as several of those remaining machines already have existing METAL ROBOT SPIRITS figures that could potentially provide the foundation for additional hololive versions.

Bandai has also appeared to confirm that both figures will appear internationally, so it’s likely that pre-orders will either open simultaneously through Premium Bandai US, or that US orders will open very shortly after the Japanese pre-order window begins.
