hololive x Gundam Collaboration Expands With Six New Pairings

Bandai Namco has officially revealed the second wave of a massive crossover collaboration between the hit mecha franchise Mobile Suit Gundam and the popular VTuber agency hololive Production.

This expansive “Gundam x hololive Production” partnership features unique artwork blending the high-tech sci-fi universe with the colorful personalities of the virtual streaming talents.

The project has created original colored mobile suits designed specifically to match the aesthetic and branding of each participating internet personality.

Fans will also be treated to exclusive illustrations of the talents wearing custom pilot suits, alongside adorable mini-character artwork.

The highly anticipated second wave of the crossover introduces six brand new character and mobile suit combinations to the growing lineup:

“Unicorn Gundam x Usada Pekora”

Featuring the iconic transforming mobile suit painted in the signature white and blue colors of the chaotic rabbit talent.

“Wing Gundam Zero EW x Oozora Subaru”

Showcasing the angelic winged mecha perfectly matched with the energetic and athletic virtual manager.

“Providence Gundam x Tsunomaki Watame”

Presenting the imposing boss mecha tailored to contrast the fluffy and gentle sheep VTuber.

“Gundam Epyon x Mori Calliope”

Highlighting the fierce close-combat suit paired effortlessly with the English-speaking grim reaper.

“Destiny Gundam x IRyS”

Showcasing the versatile high-performance machine matched with the powerful half-demon, half-angel singer.

It is fully expected that the mobile suit designs for each character will be turned into orderable Gunpla kits, with pre-orders expected to open later this summer.

This exciting crossover news closely follows a massive digital presentation that confirmed that Japan’s Anniversary Association has established April 7 as the official “Gundam Day” to honor the original 1979 anime premiere.

The “Gundam Conference Spring 2026” stream also kicked off the franchise’s fiftieth-anniversary celebrations with a brand new anime short video titled “A Boy with Gundam”.
