My Hero Academia Announces Japan Football Team Collab With Limited Edition Kits and Merch

My Hero Academia has teamed up with the Japan Men’s National Football Team to release an exclusive merchandise collaboration.
The “My Hero Academia x Samurai Blue” collab collection meshes the superhero show’s spirit of smashing past limits with the athletic drive to reach the top of global football and is headlined by a set of limited edition jerseys, serving up custom kits for some of My Hero Academia’s most popular characters.

This collaboration adds to a growing list of recently announced epic crossovers for the Japan National Football Team.
Just recently, Japanese singer Ado partnered with adidas to reveal her own exclusive Japan 2026 World Cup Home Kit featuring her signature blue rose motif.

On top of that, the hit manga One Piece also recently collaborated with the Samurai Blue for an inspiring promotional video, with the national team being gifted exclusive blue straw hats based on a special illustration by series creator Eiichiro Oda.

My Hero Academia follows Izuku Midoriya, a teenager born without superpowers who inherits a legendary ability and trains to become the ultimate hero.

He is joined along the way by his explosive rival Katsuki Bakugo, the incredibly talented Shoto Todoroki, their tired homeroom teacher Shota Aizawa, and the high-flying hero Hawks.

The limited-edition jerseys are built on the official Japan Men’s Football Team 2026 home kit design and feature the name and number of these five fan-favorite characters printed on the back.

Fans can choose between variants for Midoriya marked as “DEKU”, Bakugo labeled “BAKUGO”, Todoroki matching “SHOTO”, Aizawa using “AIZAWA”, or Hawks sporting “HAWKS”.

Each custom kit also sports the official My Hero Academia 10th-anniversary logo cleanly placed on the lower back area.

Each replica jersey is priced at 24,200 yen (approx. $155 USD / £121 GBP) each.
Alongside the limited edition jerseys, a huge selection of standalone collectibles and accessories has also been revealed:
