Adidas Unveils Exclusive Ado x Japan Football World Cup Collab Jersey
Adidas Japan has officially unveiled a new and exclusive collaborative football kersey based on an ongoing partnership between the Japan National Football Team and popular singer Ado.
The special jersey is part of the next major phase of a creative partnership aimed at blending sports culture with musical expression ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Ado has been serving as a creative partner for the Japan Mens National Football Team and the artist recently produced the official uniform song titled “Kira” to support the players.
The track was featured in a nationwide commercial broadcast in April 2026, followed by a full music video release to unite fans and build excitement:
The overall design of the national squad’s standard home kit builds upon a distinct “horizon” concept.
It incorporates modern visual graphics representing the surrounding sky and sea to showcase the DNA of the Samurai Blue team.
A prominent depiction of the Japanese flag is also placed on the back of the apparel to represent the pride of the players on the field.
For the new ”Ado x Adidas Soccer Japan National Team 2026 Home Replica Short Sleeve Uniform” special release, the classic kit has been modified to feature Ado’s signature blue rose emblem positioned directly on the front.
The back of the jersey showcases a striking printed graphic of the artist wearing the home uniform to create a unique commemorative piece.
