Bandai Announces Re-Release for Three Classic G Gundam Gunpla Kits

Bandai has announced the re-release of three highly sought after Gunpla model kits based on the eccentric and diverse mobile fighters from Mobile Fighter G Gundam.
This selection includes fan-favorite designs like the “HG 1/144 Mandala Gundam” piloted by Kyral Mekirel alongside iconic machines from Neo France and Neo America.

High Grade kits are the most popular line in the Gunpla hobby because they offer a great balance of color accuracy and poseability at an accessible 1/144 scale.

Mobile Fighter G Gundam diverges from the franchise’s traditional military themes by focusing on a global martial arts tournament where nations settle political disputes through one-on-one combat.

The Gundam Fight tournament features unique mecha designs that reflect the cultural themes of their respective countries, resulting in some of the most unconventional silhouettes ever seen in the series.
- “HG 1/144 Mandala Gundam”
- Price: 2,915 yen (approx. $19 USD/£15 GBP)

This kit captures the unique bell-shaped transformation of the Neo Nepal mobile fighter and includes specialized parts for its signature staff-based combat.

- “HG 1/144 Gundam Rose”
- Price: 2,915 yen (approx. $19 USD/£15 GBP)

Builders can display the Neo France representative with its elegant cloak, and deployable rose bits to recreate the fencer-style combat of George de Sand.

- “HG 1/144 Gundam Maxter”
- Price: 2,915 yen (approx. $19 USD/£15 GBP)

The Neo America mobile suit features a heavy boxing-themed design and includes the ability to remove its shoulder armor to enter a more aggressive fighting mode.

Pre-orders for all of the re-released Gunpla kits are set to open on May 14 via Premium Bandai.

Each kit is priced at 2,915 yen (approx. $19 USD/£15 GBP), and shipping is scheduled for September 2026.
