Square Enix Opens Orders for New Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Art Book

Square Enix has officially opened pre-orders for a brand new art book celebrating the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X.
The “Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book -Eternal Spira-” will compile a vast archive of artwork released since the game first came out.
This new book is part of the larger 25th-anniversary celebrations for the role-playing game, which originally launched on July 19, 2001.

The game’s story follows a star blitzball player named Tidus who is magically transported to the world of Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed.

He soon joins forces with a young summoner named Yuna and her loyal guardians, including Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, Auron, and Rikku, on a journey to defeat a colossal threat known as Sin.

Original character designer Tetsuya Nomura recently created a brand new 25th-anniversary logo, which decorates much of the celebratory merchandise.

The “Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book -Eternal Spira-” art book brings together illustrations from across the history of the game, including special pieces from spin-offs and alternative media.

Fans can look forward to seeing the custom illustrations drawn by Tetsuya Nomura specifically for the Kabuki Theater stage production.
The book also features the official artwork created for the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster audio drama tie-in, titled “Will”.
