Square Enix Reveals First Wave of FINAL FANTASY X 25th Anniversary Merch
Square Enix has revealed a massive lineup of commemorative merchandise to celebrate the 25th anniversary of “FINAL FANTASY X”.
Originally released on July 19, 2001, the classic role-playing game is widely considered one of the greatest video games of all time.
The emotional story follows a star blitzball player named Tidus who is magically transported to the world of Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed.
He soon joins forces with a young summoner named Yuna and her loyal guardians on a perilous pilgrimage.
Together, the diverse group must travel across the expansive world to defeat a colossal, recurring threat known simply as Sin.
The memorable cast of guardians includes Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, Auron, and Rikku.
Final Fantasy X is a fan favorite in the long-running RPG series, thanks to its deeply emotional storytelling, innovative sphere grid leveling system, and beautiful soundtrack.
To mark this incredible milestone, original character designer Tetsuya Nomura has created a brand new 25th-anniversary logo.
