Banpresto is adding another two mobile suits from “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” to its “Genkai Toppa” series of robot prize figures.

The company has confirmed the upcoming release of highly anticipated figures for both the White Gundam and GQuuuuuuX (Sieg Axe).

“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” is the latest anime entry in the long-running Mobile Suit Gundam universe, which began in 1979 and revolutionized the giant robot genre with its “real robot” approach.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX introduces a new storyline where high school student Amate Yuzuriha encounters a mysterious boy named Shuji, resulting in her piloting the gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX and becoming involved in illegal mobile suit dueling.

The series is set in an alternate version of the Universal Century continuity from the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime.

The White Gundam is an important mobile suit within this series, as it is this series’ equivalent of the original’s RX-78-02 Gundam.

A figure of the Sieg Axe’s standard appearance has already been revealed as part of the “Genkai Toppa” series.

This new figure has been dubbed the “GQuuuuuuX Omega Psycommu Pre-activation ver.” and depicts the Gundam prior to the activation of its Omega Psycommu system.

The “Genkai Toppa” (or “Limit Breakthrough” in English) series from Banpresto is a relatively recent and ambitious addition to the prize figure market.

This line aims to redefine expectations for figures typically obtained from crane games in Japanese arcades by pushing the boundaries of size and detail.

Previous successful releases, such as the Gundam Sieg Axe and Red Gundam from the same Gundam GQuuuuuuX series, have already established the line’s reputation for delivering visually striking figures.

Both of these new figures will adhere to the “Genkai Toppa” standard of impressive scale, as each figure is designed to stand at approximately 28cm (around 11 inches) tall.

The White Gundam “Genkai Toppa/Limit Breakthrough” figure will launch in August, 2025, and the GQuuuuuuX Omega Psycommu Pre-activation ver. “Genkai Toppa/Limit Breakthrough” figure will be released in October, 2025.

Upon release, fans will be able to obtain them from most arcades/amusement centers across Japan that offer crane games or through second hand channels shortly thereafter.

International fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on them, as Bandai’s Banpresto figures are usually released 1-2 months after the initial arcade/prize release in overseas markets.
