New SDCC Exclusive Dragon Ball DAIMA Goku Figure Revealed by TAMASHII NATIONS
TAMASHII NATIONS has announced a new wave of Dragon Ball exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, led by a special edition release of Super Saiyan Son Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball DAIMA.
The annual convention will take place from July 23 to July 26, 2026, and collectors can expect several Dragon Ball-themed exclusives to be available as part of the event’s merchandise lineup.
Among the newly revealed figures, “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku (Mini) -DAIMA- -Exclusive Edition-” stands out by bringing the latest incarnation of Goku to the convention-exclusive lineup.
Dragon Ball DAIMA introduced a new chapter in the long-running franchise by transforming Goku and several familiar characters into younger versions of themselves, sending them on a new adventure through the Demon Realm.
The series was one of the final Dragon Ball projects developed with direct involvement from franchise creator Akira Toriyama and quickly became one of the most talked-about entries in the series’ modern era.
The new convention-exclusive figure recreates Goku’s Super Saiyan form from Dragon Ball DAIMA and incorporates newly sculpted parts inspired by his battle against Gomah and the Evil Third Eye.
Although compact in scale compared to many other S.H.Figuarts releases, the figure features an impressive level of detail throughout its sculpt.
Translucent materials have been used for the Super Saiyan hair, while pearlescent paint applications help recreate the glow and intensity of Goku’s transformed state.
The outfit has also been finished with reflective paint effects designed to mimic the way Goku’s aura illuminates his clothing during battle.
These specialized finishes allow the figure’s appearance to subtly shift depending on surrounding lighting conditions, creating a more dynamic display piece.
The newly sculpted facial expression included with this release further emphasizes the fierce determination Goku displays during one of Dragon Ball DAIMA’s most significant confrontations.
While Goku serves as the headline release, TAMASHII NATIONS has also announced two additional Dragon Ball S.H.Figuarts exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
One of those releases is “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gotenks -Exclusive Edition-,” which features translucent Super Saiyan hair, interchangeable expressions, alternate hand parts, ghost effect accessories, and a special PET card featuring newly illustrated artwork.
The second is “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta -Exclusive Edition-,” which includes an all-new head sculpt, reflective pearlescent paintwork inspired by a Kamehameha energy blast, and a dedicated Kamehameha effect part.
Together, the three exclusives celebrate different eras of the Dragon Ball franchise, ranging from classic movie appearances to the newest animated adventures.
For fans of Dragon Ball DAIMA in particular, however, the Super Saiyan Son Goku (Mini) release offers one of the first convention-exclusive collectibles dedicated to the series and serves as a showcase for its unique interpretation of the franchise’s iconic hero.
Pricing for the SDCC 2026 exclusives has been confirmed at $50 USD for “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku (Mini) -DAIMA- -Exclusive Edition-“, $70 USD for “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gotenks -Exclusive Edition-“, and $80 USD for “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta -Exclusive Edition-“.
The figures will be available through the TAMASHII NATIONS booth during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, with advance event pickup orders scheduled through Premium Bandai USA.
