TAMASHII NATIONS Reveals Exclusive Super Saiyan Gotenks Figure for SDCC 2026
TAMASHII NATIONS has unveiled a new wave of Dragon Ball exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, with the spotlight falling on a special edition release of Super Saiyan Gotenks from the S.H.Figuarts action figure line.
The annual convention will take place from July 23 to July 26, 2026, and collectors can expect several Dragon Ball-themed exclusives to be available as part of the event’s merchandise lineup.
Among the newly revealed figures, “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gotenks -Exclusive Edition-” takes center stage with a design inspired by Gotenks’ appearance in the Dragon Ball Z movie Fusion Reborn.
Dragon Ball fans will recognize Gotenks as the fusion warrior created when Goten and Trunks successfully perform the Fusion Dance, combining their strengths and personalities into a single fighter with tremendous power and an equally oversized ego.
Throughout the series, Gotenks became known for his playful attitude, creative techniques, and bizarre attacks, including his famous Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack.
The new convention-exclusive figure stands approximately 13 cm tall and recreates the character’s Super Saiyan transformation using translucent hair parts enhanced with pearlescent paintwork.
The shimmering finish is designed to capture the energy and brilliance associated with the transformation, giving the figure a more dynamic appearance under display lighting.
Collectors will receive two interchangeable facial expressions, including a confident grin and a battle-ready shouting face.
Multiple alternate hand parts are included to help recreate a variety of action poses from the anime and films.
The set also comes with adorable ghost effect accessories inspired by Gotenks’ signature Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, allowing fans to recreate some of his most memorable techniques.
A special PET card featuring newly illustrated ghost artwork is also included as an exclusive bonus.
While Gotenks serves as the headline release, TAMASHII NATIONS has also announced two additional Dragon Ball S.H.Figuarts exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
One of those releases is “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta -Exclusive Edition-,” which brings the fan-favorite fusion warrior back to the line with newly sculpted head parts designed to more accurately reflect his animated appearance.
Standing approximately 14 cm tall, the Gogeta figure incorporates translucent hair elements and pearlescent paint applications inspired by the reflected glow of a Kamehameha energy wave.
The same reflective effect extends across Gogeta’s outfit, helping emphasize the dramatic energy surrounding the character during battle scenes.
The figure also includes a Kamehameha effect part to recreate one of Gogeta’s most iconic attacks.
The third Dragon Ball exclusive is “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku (Mini) -DAIMA- -Exclusive Edition-,” based on Goku’s appearance in Dragon Ball DAIMA.
Although significantly smaller in scale, the figure features newly sculpted hair and facial components inspired by Goku’s battle against Gomah and the Evil Third Eye.
The figure’s translucent Super Saiyan hair and pearlescent paint applications are designed to create shifting visual effects that reflect the character’s aura and power.
For collectors focused on Dragon Ball’s fusion warriors, however, the Gotenks release stands out as one of the most playful and visually distinctive exclusives revealed so far.
Pricing for the SDCC 2026 exclusives has been confirmed at $70 USD for “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gotenks -Exclusive Edition-“, $80 USD for “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta -Exclusive Edition-“, and $50 USD for “S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Goku (Mini) -DAIMA- -Exclusive Edition-“.
The figures will be available through the TAMASHII NATIONS booth during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, with advance event pickup orders scheduled through Premium Bandai USA.
