Pokémon Returns to Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos for Its Next 30th Anniversary Starter Collection
Image by Charlotte DavisPokémon’s next 30th anniversary starter collection is arriving later this month, bringing together all nine first-partner Pokémon from Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos.
The “Pokémon Journey with You! Anniversary: A New Journey Begins” collection is the second part of Re-Ment’s three-wave anniversary series, with Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup joined by Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie across three miniature displays.
The full “Journey with You! Anniversary” project was first revealed earlier in 2026, with Re-Ment dividing every generation of starter Pokémon across three releases scheduled throughout November.
The Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos collection follows “The Dawn of Adventure,” which officially launched on November 2 and began the series with the starter trios from Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn.
Rather than separating each Pokémon into an individual figure, Re-Ment groups the three starters from each generation together on a scenic base designed to resemble the beginning of a new journey through their respective region.
This second collection moves the anniversary project into Pokémon’s fourth, fifth, and sixth generations, with each scene showing its trio travelling together through a different environment:
- Sinnoh Region
Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup travel together along a rocky route, with the scene built around the idea that the three may occasionally get lost or argue but continue moving forward together.
- Unova Region
Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott race toward their next destination, ignoring an inviting ice cream shop along the way as they compete to reach the next town first.
- Kalos Region
Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie take a break outside a café before setting off again, with small luggage and travel details helping reinforce the collection’s journey theme.
Re-Ment has also contributed another commemorative miniature range to Pokémon’s anniversary year through the Pokémon Terrarium Collection 10 Pokémon 30th Anniversary Ver., which brought back six earlier displays with redesigned anniversary bases.
Pokémon’s wider 30th anniversary celebrations have produced several other major collections, including a 62-piece 3COINS range starring the original 151 Pokémon across tableware, stationery, bags and other accessories.
Image by James RichardsonPokémon Center is also continuing its region-spanning anniversary celebrations with the Pokémon Timeless Adventure Paldea collection, which brings Pikachu together with Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly for a range built around the theme of choosing where an adventure will lead next.
The “Pokémon Journey with You! Anniversary: A New Journey Begins” collection, priced at ¥2,090 (approximately $13 / £10) per blind-boxed figure, will release through toy stores, character shops and other hobby retailers such as HobbyLink Japan in Japan on November 16, 2026.
The third and final “The Road to Tomorrow” collection will follow on November 30, completing the anniversary series with the remaining starter Pokémon from Alola, Galar and Paldea.
