Design Coco has opened pre-orders for its new “Hatsune Miku Jiangshi Ver.” figure.

This 1/7 scale figure is based on a new illustration by artist Roaro Honda.

Miku JIANGSHI 12

Hatsune Miku is a virtual pop idol, a vocaloid software persona developed by Crypton Future Media, whose widespread popularity has led to concerts, merchandise, and various collaborations globally.

The Jiangshi, or Chinese hopping vampire, is a classic figure in East Asian folklore and horror.

The figure captures the distinctive posture of a Jiangshi, with downturned hands and stiff, extended legs, yet manages to convey a sense of charm.

Particular attention has been paid to Miku’s slightly disgruntled expression, with her left cheek puffed out, and intricate details like the delicate frills on her sleeves and her braided hair.

The craftsmanship extends to the figure’s translucent white skin texture, the subtle sheen of her prayer beads, and the beautifully rendered gradient of her hair color.

Notably, the design also includes the open-back costume, which was not fully visible in the original illustration.

The base features cracked stone pavement and black fencing, creating a dark and fantastical atmosphere for the display.

The figure stands approximately 233mm tall, including its base.

Pre-orders for the “Hatsune Miku Jiangshi Ver.” figure began on July 4th via Design Coco’s online store, COCO Store.

It is priced at ¥24,200, and the release is currently scheduled for October 2026.
