Bandai Announces Re-Release for Gundam UC-MSV Sinanju Stein Gunpla Kit

Bandai has opened pre-orders for a re-release of an exclusive Gunpla model kit based on a prototype mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam UC-MSV.
The “HG 1/144 Sinanju Stein (Unicorn Ver.)” recreates the un-engraved, raw prototype machine before it was stolen and modified into Full Frontal’s personal unit.

High Grade models are the core of the Gunpla hobby due to their accessible 1/144 scale and impressive range of movement.

Mobile Suit Gundam UC-MSV explores the technological history occurring in the background of the main storyline.

The Sinanju Stein serves as a testbed unit for the experimental Psycho-Frame technology developed by Anaheim Electronics.

This specific kit portrays the machine prior to receiving the ornate “Sleeves” decorations featured on its Narrative or standard versions.

The exterior color scheme follows the light grey pattern designated in the official universe background setting.

The kit features a uniquely designed high beam rifle and shield configuration created specifically for this development phase.

The extended length of the external propellant tanks mounted on the backpack armor has also been accurately reproduced with dedicated parts.

Standard weaponry, such as a bazooka, beam sabers, and multiple interchangeable hand parts are included to allow for expressive, dynamic combat poses.

Pre-orders for the “HG 1/144 Sinanju Stein (Unicorn Ver.)” opened on May 18 via the Premium Bandai online store for 3,080 yen (approx. $20 USD/£16 GBP).

Also being re-released at the same time is the gold-plated “RG 1/144 Unicorn Gundam Unit 3 Phenex (Narrative Ver.)”, which also opened for pre-orders at the same time.

Shipping for the “HG 1/144 Sinanju Stein (Unicorn Ver.)” is currently scheduled to begin in August 2026.
