Panache Digital Games Reveals Action Adventure Game 1666: Amsterdam for PC and Consoles

Panache Digital Games, the studio known for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, officially announced their new project titled 1666: Amsterdam on June 5, 2026.

This dark third-person narrative action adventure game is set to launch first on PC through the Steam and Epic Games Store platforms, with console versions planned for a later date.

To coincide with the announcement, a free prologue has been released, offering approximately 30 minutes of gameplay to introduce players to the atmosphere and mystery of the title.

The story is set in 1666 within an Amsterdam shaped by wealth and the hidden influence of entities known as the Originals, who have manipulated the city for centuries.

Players take on the role of Noa Brooklyn, a character known as the Collector who was raised by the Zaindaris for a specific destiny.

The narrative also features a character named Aaron from the year 1999, who experiences the world through the eyes of a cat.

The gameplay explores a mystery spanning three distinct timelines, including the years 1333, 1666, 1999, and the modern day.

During the prologue, players must choose a companion to walk beside Noa as she begins her commencement and takes on the mantle of the Collector.
