New Demon Slayer themed sushi, desserts and exclusive merch are coming to Kura Sushi
Conveyor belt sushi chain Kura Sushi has announced a new collaboration campaign with the popular anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The event is being held to commemorate the recent theatrical release of the film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1.
The campaign will feature a lineup of original, character-themed menu items, as well as multiple opportunities to receive exclusive merchandise.
The new, limited-time menu includes:
- Tanjiro’s Shrimp Tempura with Mayo Sauce
- Price: ¥230
Shrimp tempura sushi topped with green and black sauces to represent Tanjiro’s haori coat, served on a special character-themed sheet.
- Giyu’s Water Breathing Lemon Squash
- Price: ¥480
A blue lemon squash with white lemon sherbet and whipped cream, designed to look like one of Giyu Tomioka’s signature sword techniques. Comes with a collectible straw charm.
- Shinobu & Kanao’s Peach Grape Snow
- Price: ¥530
A shaved ice dessert with purple grape and pink peach syrups to represent the colors of the two characters, topped with a ramune-flavored mousse. Comes with a random, butterfly-shaped decorative pick.
A gift-with-purchase campaign will also be held in two phases.
For every ¥2,500 spent, customers will receive a free gift.
The first phase will offer one of four possible exclusive clear files (pictured above), while the second phase will feature one of four possible rubber coasters.
Additionally, the restaurant’s signature “Bikkura Pon!” prize system will be stocked with exclusive Demon Slayer goods.
“Bikkura Pon!” is a game that can be played at each table, where customers can win a prize from a capsule machine for every five plates they consume.
The limited-time prizes will include rubber charms featuring new chibi illustrations from the anime studio ufotable, as well as can badges and erasers.
The campaign will be held at Kura Sushi locations nationwide, with the exception of the Osaka Kansai Expo store.
The collaboration is scheduled to begin this Friday, the 8th of August.
The first phase of the gift-with-purchase promotion will also begin on the 8th of August, 2025, with the second phase starting on the 22nd of August, 2025.
