Gundam F91’s Exclusive Vigna-Ghina Gunpla Kit Gets New US Re-Release
Image by Charlotte DavisOne of Mobile Suit Gundam F91’s Crossbone Vanguard Mobile Suits is officially returning to the US, giving American builders another chance to add the Vigna-Ghina to their collections in early 2027.
The returning “RE/100 1/100 Vigna-Ghina” recreates the custom high-ranking officer Mobile Suit piloted by Cecily Fairchild, also known as Berah Ronah, during the events of Gundam F91.
Vigna-Ghina was developed by the Crossbone Vanguard as a high-performance Mobile Suit, with its curved armor and unusual backpack helping it stand apart from many of the more traditional Universal Century designs of the period.
The RE/100 kit originally launched in June 2018, using the larger 1/100 scale while avoiding the complete internal frame normally associated with a Master Grade kit.
Its proportions and mechanical detailing were also designed to work well with the MG 1/100 Gundam F91 Ver.2.0, making the two kits a natural pairing for anyone building a display based around the 1991 movie.
One of the Vigna-Ghina’s main features is its backpack, where all eight fin nozzles can be moved independently to give builders more control over their position when posing the finished model.
The kit also includes two different cockpit hatch parts, allowing the Vigna-Ghina to be displayed in its standard configuration or with the repaired hatch seen later in the movie.
Its weapon selection consists of a Beam Rifle, Beam Launcher, two Beam Sabers, and a Beam Shield recreated using a clear effect part, covering the main equipment used by the Mobile Suit on screen.
Marking stickers are included for details such as the Crossbone Vanguard crest, while the calf ducts move together with the knee joints to preserve the shape of the legs when the model is placed into deeper poses.
Pre-orders for the “RE/100 1/100 Vigna-Ghina,” priced at $49, are now open exclusively through Premium Bandai US and are scheduled to remain available until December 16, 2026, at 2:59 AM EST, although reservations may close earlier if the available allocation sells out.
Shipping for this latest re-release is currently scheduled for January 2027.
