Mistfall Hunter Set to Debut on July 29

Developer Bellring Games has announced that Mistfall Hunter, a third-person extraction RPG, is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on July 29, 2026.

This announcement coincides with the reveal of an open beta period that will begin across all supported platforms on June 14, 2026.

The upcoming title combines player-versus-player and player-versus-environment mechanics, challenging participants to explore the dangerous Gyldenmist as class-based warriors known as Gyldhunters.

Players can choose to enter the fog in three-person squads or as solo combatants to hunt corroded horrors and successfully extract before they are overwhelmed.

Bellring Games recently introduced the Withered Knight as a new addition to the character roster, a class that utilizes a two-handed greatsword and a chivalric code in combat.

The Withered Knight specializes in a sigil-and-detonation loop, allowing players to mark enemies with Withering Sigils and detonate them for massive damage and battlefield control.

Additional skills for the class include a timing-based parry and the Thorn Guide, a grappling ability designed to pull enemies out of formation for teammates to eliminate.

This new class joins an established lineup of heroes that includes the Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow, Shadowstrix, and Seer.

The public open beta is set to run from June 14, 2026, at 6:00 pm PT through June 22, 2026, at 3:00 am PT.

This testing phase serves as the first opportunity for the general gaming community to experience the full three-player cooperative gameplay loop.

The developer showcased the project at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2026 with new trailers highlighting the release date and beta gameplay.
