Pokémon Center Reveals Full Merch Lineup for World Championships 2026 and PokémonXP
Pokémon Center has revealed the full merchandise lineup created for PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, with everything from exclusive plush and apparel to TCG accessories, collectibles and new display pieces.
The collection will form a major part of the Pokémon Center pop-up in San Francisco, where the two events take place alongside one another from August 28 through August 30.
Three main merchandise themes have been created for the occasion, separating the futuristic appearance of PokémonXP, the competitive identity of the World Championships and imagery inspired by San Francisco itself.
PokémonXP uses a predominantly blue color scheme built around its space-inspired theme, with the event’s female Pikachu mascot appearing in a colorful space jacket and helmet across several products.
Some of the PokémonXP clothing takes that concept further with glow-in-the-dark elements, with T-shirts, jerseys, hoodies and hats among the apparel being offered across the wider collection.
The World Championships range switches to red and centers on the male Pikachu created for Worlds 2026, who wears an elaborate crown and champion’s cape.
Several pieces combine both event themes, pairing the blue PokémonXP imagery and its space-themed Pikachu with the red Worlds colors and crowned Pikachu on the same merchandise.
A third collection celebrates San Francisco, combining Pokémon imagery with recognizable features of the host city rather than concentrating solely on the two event mascots.
The artwork reimagines locations and landmarks with details including Poké Ball-inspired cable cars, Pokémon references worked into the Painted Ladies and a version of the Transamerica Pyramid influenced by Gigantamax Duraludon.
Pokémon including Pikachu, Vileplume, Krabby, Ditto, Umbreon, Espeon, Latias, Latios and Jirachi can also be spotted throughout the more densely illustrated San Francisco designs.
Trading Card Game players receive a substantial selection of merchandise of their own, including playmats, card sleeves, deck boxes and binders decorated with the different event themes.
Pokémon Center has also created key chains, mugs, stackable drinking glasses and numerous pins, giving fans plenty of smaller souvenirs beyond the clothing and TCG accessories.
Two of the new pins feature Umbreon and Elgyem with glow-in-the-dark effects, continuing the space-inspired appearance used throughout the PokémonXP range.
One of the standout accessories is a backpack based on the equipment worn by the event’s Charizard plush, complete with a transparent window designed to display a small plush inside.
Charizard also appears on an LED neon sign, which Pokémon Center says is the first product of its kind it has released.
Greninja receives another of the collection’s more eye-catching display pieces through a dimmable acrylic mood light mounted on a wooden base.
The newly revealed range joins four event plush that Pokémon Center showed earlier this summer, with separate Pikachu designs created for Worlds and PokémonXP alongside special Charizard and Kirlia plush.
The Worlds Pikachu wears its crown and champion’s cape, while the PokémonXP version dresses the female Pikachu in its space jacket and star-filled helmet.
Charizard continues the space theme with goggles and a backpack resembling a flame-powered rocket, while the posable Kirlia wears a wide-brimmed hat with a Butterfree charm and carries a trunk-style bag.
Those four plush are particularly limited, as Pokémon Center has confirmed that they will only be sold through the on-site store rather than receiving a regular online release.
Access to the main Pokémon Center store is restricted to people registered for PokémonXP or the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, with attendees invited to make shopping reservations ahead of the event.
The store itself opens before the main events, operating from August 26 through August 30 at the Moscone Center, while an additional Pokémon Center Outpost will be available on Rayquaza Road during the three event days.
