Pokémon Center Reveals Exclusive 2026 World Championships Plush Collection
The Pokémon Company has revealed a new collection of exclusive plushies that are designed to celebrate the upcoming combined PokémonXP and 2026 Pokémon World Championships events.
The 2026 Pokémon World Championships will take place in San Francisco, California from August 28 to 30, bringing together the world’s best Pokémon Trading Card Game, Video Game Championship, Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE players to compete for World Champion titles while thousands of fans gather to celebrate the franchise’s competitive scene.
Running alongside the tournament is PokémonXP, the first official fan convention of its kind hosted by The Pokémon Company International, offering workshops, panels, attractions, exhibitors, special guests and interactive experiences designed to celebrate every corner of the Pokémon franchise.
One of the biggest attractions for many visitors will once again be the Pokémon Center pop-up store, which will stock exclusive event merchandise that cannot be purchased through the regular Pokémon Center online store.
Leading the new plush lineup is the official 2026 Pokémon World Championships Pikachu, which depicts a male Pikachu dressed like a champion with an ornate crown and flowing cape inspired by the tournament’s prestigious title.
Joining it is the PokémonXP Pikachu, which swaps royal attire for an adventurous space-themed outfit featuring a colorful helmet complete with ear openings and a matching futuristic jacket.
Charizard also receives a PokémonXP makeover, wearing protective flight goggles and carrying an oversized rocket-shaped backpack that resembles a flame-powered jet pack ready for launch.
Rounding out the collection is a poseable Kirlia plush that embraces the spirit of exploration with a wide-brimmed travel hat decorated with a Butterfree charm and a matching vintage-style trunk bag featuring a Butterfree silhouette.
The exclusive plush collection forms part of a wider merchandise lineup created specifically for PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, with additional event-exclusive products expected to be available throughout the weekend.
Fans unable to attend the event will still be able to purchase a wide selection of Pokémon merchandise through the official Pokémon Center online store, although these four plushies will remain exclusive to the Pokémon Center pop-up at the event.
The exclusive PokémonXP and 2026 Pokémon World Championships plush will be available exclusively from the Pokémon Center pop-up store for registered event attendees during PokémonXP and the 2026 Pokémon World Championships at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from August 28 to 30, 2026.
