BLEACH Gives Yoruichi’s Thunder Beast Battle Form Its First Official Figure
Image by Charlotte DavisBandai has revealed the first official figure of Yoruichi Shihouin in her lightning-powered “Thunder Beast” form, which sees her gain feral cat-like features, intense speed, and devastating lightning-based attacks.
The figure is part of “Ichiban Kuji BLEACH Stirring Souls vol.5” and arrives shortly after the transformation finally made its TV anime appearance during the currently airing final cour of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity.
Yoruichi is the former captain of Soul Society’s 2nd Division and former commander of the Onmitsukido, with her incredible speed earning her the nickname Flash Goddess long before the Thousand-Year Blood War pushed her abilities even further.
Her Shunko technique combines hand-to-hand combat with Kido, surrounding her body with concentrated spiritual energy and allowing her to fight without relying on a Zanpakuto.
During her battle against Sternritter Askin Nakk Le Vaar, Yoruichi takes the technique to its extreme with Shunko: Raiju Senkei: Shunryu Kokubyo Senki, transforming into a cat-like lightning form that dramatically changes both her appearance and fighting style.
The transformation recently took center stage in Episode 41 of Thousand-Year Blood War, appropriately titled “GOD OF THUNDER,” where Yoruichi’s fight against Askin also brings Kisuke Urahara back into the action.
Despite Yoruichi having received a number of figures over the years, her Thunder Beast transformation had never previously been recreated as an official figure, making the new C Prize one of the most exciting recent additions to Bandai’s growing BLEACH figure lineup.
The C Prize Yoruichi Shihouin MASTERLISE measures approximately 9.5 cm tall and captures her low, feline fighting stance with the lightning-charged elements of Shunryu Kokubyo Senki worked into the sculpt.
Bandai has also revealed the B Prize Toshiro Hitsugaya MASTERLISE figure, which at around 12 cm tall recreates the captain in his adult appearance after Daiguren Hyorinmaru reaches its fully matured state during the Thousand-Year Blood War.
Kenpachi Zaraki completes the first group of revealed figures as the Last One Prize, transforming the 11th Division captain into the red-skinned, demonic appearance produced when he finally unleashes his Bankai.
The remaining A Prize, D through H Prizes, and Double Chance Campaign reward have yet to be revealed, leaving a large part of the fifth Stirring Souls lineup under wraps ahead of launch.
Each entry in Ichiban Kuji BLEACH Stirring Souls vol.5 will cost ¥850 (approx. $5 USD / £4 GBP), with the lottery available through participating 7-Eleven, Ito-Yokado and Youme Town locations in Japan when it launches on September 19, 2026.
International collectors will also have a more straightforward way to obtain at least some of the figures, as Bandai appears to be preparing separate Ichibansho releases based on the Stirring Souls vol.5 MASTERLISE lineup for markets including the US.
Yoruichi currently appears under the placeholder name “Character C” at both GameStop and BigBadToyStore for $64.99, with GameStop listing the figure for a December 6, 2026 release while BBTS currently estimates arrival during November.
Placeholder Ichibansho listings have also appeared for the other Stirring Souls vol.5 characters, confirming that Bandai plans to bring more of the lottery’s MASTERLISE figures to collectors outside Japan without requiring them to rely on the Ichiban Kuji draw system.
