BLEACH Finally Gives Adult Hitsugaya His First Official Figure
Image by Charlotte DavisBandai has revealed the first official figure of Toshiro Hitsugaya in his adult form, recreating the dramatic transformation that occurs when the young captain finally unlocks the complete power of his Bankai, Daiguren Hyorinmaru.
The new figure forms part of Ichiban Kuji BLEACH Stirring Souls vol.5 and arrives at an ideal time, with Hitsugaya’s adult appearance finally making its TV anime debut in the latest episodes of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity.
Hitsugaya is the captain of Soul Society’s 10th Division and one of the youngest characters ever to achieve the rank, with his unusually youthful appearance contrasting with the enormous ice-based power of his Zanpakuto, Hyorinmaru.
His Bankai, Daiguren Hyorinmaru, surrounds him with ice and traditionally appears alongside a series of flower petals that gradually disappear as its power is used.
The Thousand-Year Blood War eventually reveals that the disappearance of those petals does not signal the end of his Bankai, but instead marks the point at which Daiguren Hyorinmaru reaches its completed state.
Hitsugaya’s body physically matures as a result, giving him an adult appearance capable of handling the much greater power of the completed Bankai during his battle against Sternritter Gerard Valkyrie.
That long-awaited transformation reached the anime on August 15, 2026, bringing one of Hitsugaya’s biggest manga moments to animation shortly before Bandai revealed its first official figure based specifically on the form.
The B Prize Toshiro Hitsugaya MASTERLISE measures approximately 12 cm tall and recreates the captain after his transformation, making it completely different from the younger Hitsugaya figures Bandai has released across previous BLEACH collections.
Bandai has also revealed the C Prize Yoruichi Shihouin MASTERLISE, which measures approximately 9.5 cm and becomes the first official figure of her lightning-powered Thunder Beast transformation seen during her battle against Askin Nakk Le Vaar.
Yoruichi is posed low to the ground with the feline characteristics of Shunko: Raiju Senkei: Shunryu Kokubyo Senki incorporated into the sculpt, following the form’s own recent appearance in The Calamity.
Kenpachi Zaraki completes the first group of announced figures as the approximately 22 cm Last One Prize, capturing the 11th Division captain’s red-skinned appearance after he unleashes his Bankai during the battle against Gerard.
The A Prize, D through H Prizes, and Double Chance Campaign reward remain unannounced, meaning Bandai still has several parts of the Stirring Souls vol.5 lineup to reveal before release.
Each entry in Ichiban Kuji BLEACH Stirring Souls vol.5 will cost ¥850 (approx. $5 USD / £4 GBP), with the lottery being sold through participating 7-Eleven, Ito-Yokado and Youme Town locations in Japan from September 19, 2026.
Collectors in the US will also have the option of buying some of the MASTERLISE figures individually through Bandai’s Ichibansho line rather than relying on the Japanese lottery format.
Hitsugaya is currently listed under the temporary name “Character B” at GameStop and BigBadToyStore for $64.99, with both retailers confirming a 12 cm MASTERLISE Ichibansho figure based on BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War.
BigBadToyStore currently estimates the Character B release for November 2026, while GameStop lists the figure for December 6, giving US fans a route to add the first official adult Hitsugaya figure to their collection later this year.
Placeholder Ichibansho listings have also appeared for Character C and the Last One character from Stirring Souls vol.5, indicating that Yoruichi and Kenpachi are also planned for individual international releases alongside Hitsugaya.
