Medalist Anime Film Debuts Intense Teaser Trailer And Visual
The Medalist anime series is officially expanding with a new film project scheduled for release in 2027.
This announcement coincided with the final episode of Season 2, which aired on January 17, 2026.
Production for the upcoming movie will be handled by studio ENGI, the same team responsible for the television adaptation.
Yasutaka Yamamoto returns to direct the film, bringing his experience from projects like Servant x Service to the production.
The creative team also features Jukki Hanada handling series composition and Chinatsu Kameyama providing the character designs.
Renowned composer Yuki Hayashi, known for his work on Haikyu!!, will be responsible for the film’s musical score.
A new ultra teaser trailer and a fresh visual have been released to give fans a glimpse of the rivalry between Inori and Hikaru on the ice.
The story follows Tsukasa and Inori, two individuals who share a fierce tenacity and a dream of reaching the world stage of figure skating.
The original manga by Ikada Tsuruma is published in English by Kodansha USA for fans following the source material.
