Image by James RichardsonPokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations are getting another huge merchandise collection, with Japanese lifestyle retailer 3COINS revealing 62 new items inspired by the series’ original generation.
Launching as the first wave of a new “Pokémon 30th Anniversary x 3COINS” collaboration, the collection includes tableware, stationery, bags, towels, pouches and other everyday accessories featuring Pokémon from the original Kanto region.

The range celebrates 30 years since Pokémon Red and Green launched for the Game Boy in Japan on February 27, 1996, introducing the first 151 Pokémon and beginning a franchise that has since expanded across games, anime, movies, trading cards and merchandise.

Three different visual themes are used across the 3COINS collection, including designs centered around Pikachu, fully evolved Kanto starters Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise, and artwork bringing together all 151 original Pokémon.

The collection joins a growing number of releases created for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, with September also bringing a set of 30 different Pikachu plush charms featuring a wide range of expressions and poses.

Pokémon Center has also continued its “Pokémon Timeless Adventure” anniversary series this month, with its latest collection heading to Alola and putting Rowlet, Litten and Popplio at the center of a new range of merchandise.

Another September anniversary project saw the release of “Pokémon All-Stars 1025,” a 22-minute official song performed by Masayoshi Oishi that works through the names of all 1,025 Pokémon introduced up to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

The first “Pokémon 30th Anniversary x 3COINS” collection will go on sale at 3COINS, 3COINS+plus, 3COINS OOOPS! and 3COINS station stores across Japan on October 10, 2026, with online sales launching through PAL CLOSET on the same day.
Physical stores will use a lottery-based entry system for access to the Pokémon merchandise section on launch day, with applications open until September 23 and results scheduled to be announced on October 2.
Customers shopping in stores will be limited to one of each product and color per transaction, while PAL CLOSET will allow up to three of each product and color per order.
