Makeship’s Official Fullmetal Alchemist Collection Expands with 4 Fan-Favorite Characters

The new wave shifts the focus away from the Elric brothers and Winry Rockbell featured earlier this year to four major members of the Amestrian State Military, including two pairs of characters whose relationships play major roles throughout the story.

Created by Hiromu Arakawa, Fullmetal Alchemist follows brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric as they search for the Philosopher’s Stone in an attempt to restore their bodies following a disastrous attempt at human transmutation.

Their journey repeatedly crosses paths with the Amestrian State Military, where Roy, Riza and the Armstrong siblings become increasingly important as the brothers uncover the conspiracy surrounding the country and its leadership.

Roy Mustang leads the new plush lineup in his dark blue military uniform, with his black hair and sharp expression adapted into the same compact style used across Makeship’s collection.

Known as the Flame Alchemist, Roy is a State Alchemist and military colonel whose ignition cloth gloves allow him to use flame alchemy by creating sparks and controlling oxygen around his target.

His ambition to rise through the military and eventually reshape Amestris becomes one of the series’ major supporting storylines, with Riza Hawkeye serving as his most trusted subordinate throughout that journey.

Riza receives her own matching plush, which recreates the First Lieutenant with her blonde hair and Amestrian military uniform.

An exceptional marksman, Riza serves directly alongside Roy as his aide and bodyguard, with the pair sharing a level of trust that becomes central to several of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood’s most important moments.

Roy and Riza have also featured together in several recent Fullmetal Alchemist merchandise projects, including Square Enix’s new Dot Art collection, which transformed the pair and five other characters into pixel designs created by veteran Final Fantasy artist Kazuko Shibuya.

Alex’s plush adapts his enormous build into much smaller proportions while retaining his signature blond curl and muscular physique.

Despite his intimidating size and considerable strength, Alex is one of the series’ most openly compassionate military officers and regularly becomes emotional when confronted with everything from tragedy to displays of friendship and beauty.

He is joined by his older sister Olivier Mira Armstrong, who commands Fort Briggs on Amestris’ northern border and earns the title “Northern Wall of Briggs” through her uncompromising leadership.

Olivier’s plush recreates her long blonde hair and stern expression, giving the collection a character whose calm, severe appearance contrasts sharply with her younger brother’s much more expressive personality.

The siblings frequently clash over their very different temperaments, but both ultimately become important participants in the fight against the conspiracy at the center of Amestris.

Makeship previously launched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood plushes based on Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric and Winry Rockbell earlier in 2026.

Edward and Winry were produced in the standard character plush format, while Alphonse received a larger Jumbo Plush that allowed his enormous suit of armor to retain more of its scale compared with his brother.

That earlier group established the collection around the three characters at the heart of the Elric brothers’ journey, while the second wave expands it to seven characters by adding several of the military figures who become their closest allies.
The new Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Alex Louis Armstrong and Olivier Mira Armstrong plushes can be pre-ordered through Makeship in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia and select other supported regions.
Each plush is priced at $29.99, with orders placed now currently estimated to ship on December 23, 2026.
