Kusunoki’s Garden Of Gods Opening Animation Released Without Credits

The television anime adaptation of the Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods light novel series has officially begun its broadcast as of April 4, 2026.

To celebrate the premiere, the production team released a creditless version of the opening animation sequence featuring the theme song Odoroki no Ko performed by Miyu Irino.

The series is based on the original light novels by author Enju and illustrator ox, which first launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2021 before being picked up for print by ASCII Media Works.

The story follows Minato Kusunoki, a young man who inherits a haunted family estate only to inadvertently transform it into a sanctuary for deities using his immense spiritual power.

Director Sekijuu Sekino is leading the project at animation studio JUVENAGE, with Ryo Yamauchi serving as assistant director and Yuji Kobayashi handling series composition.

The technical team also includes character designers Yuko Inoue and Chikako Noma, while the musical score is composed by R・O・N.

International audiences can view the series on Crunchyroll, which is handling the global streaming distribution for the supernatural comedy.

For fans of the source material, Yen Press continues to publish the English language version of the light novels for Western readers.

Ahead of the April 4, 2026, premiere, additional promotional materials including a full trailer and art were unveiled on March 14, 2026.
