The Apothecary Diaries Maomao and Jinshi Get Exclusive Summer Designs for New Collab Café and Merch
The Apothecary Diaries is returning with a brand-new collaboration café, bringing exclusive food, drinks and merchandise inspired by Maomao and Jinshi to fans this summer.
The Apothecary Diaries has become one of the biggest anime and light novel franchises in recent years, with more than 45 million copies of the original series in circulation and an anime adaptation celebrated for its blend of mystery, palace intrigue and memorable characters.
Following the success of the anime’s first two seasons, a third season has already been confirmed for a split two-cour broadcast beginning in October 2026, while the franchise’s first theatrical movie is also scheduled to premiere in December 2026.
Running under the theme “Cool Summer Sweets,” the collaboration features newly illustrated artwork showing Maomao and Jinshi dressed in refreshing summer outfits while enjoying specially created menu items designed exclusively for the event.
The seasonal theme extends throughout both the café menu and merchandise lineup, creating a bright summer atmosphere designed to help visitors escape the heat while enjoying the world of The Apothecary Diaries.
Fans will be able to enjoy six character-inspired collaboration menu items throughout the event.
Every drink and shaved ice ordered includes an acrylic charm featuring the corresponding character, while each fried bread menu item comes with its own themed character pick.
Maomao’s Refreshing Shaved Ice, priced at ¥1,320 (approx. $9 USD / £7 GBP), pairs with an exclusive Maomao acrylic charm.
Maomao’s Peach Soda, priced at ¥1,100 (approx. $8 USD / £6 GBP), also includes a Maomao acrylic charm.
Maomao’s Colorful Consommé Fried Bread, priced at ¥1,210 (approx. $8 USD / £6 GBP), comes complete with a character pick.
Jinshi’s Refreshing Shaved Ice, priced at ¥1,320 (approx. $9 USD / £7 GBP), includes an exclusive Jinshi acrylic charm.
Jinshi’s Violet Drink, priced at ¥1,100 (approx. $8 USD / £6 GBP), is served with a matching Jinshi acrylic charm.
Jinshi’s Colorful Genovese Fried Bread, priced at ¥1,210 (approx. $8 USD / £6 GBP), also comes with a character pick.
Guests will also receive one randomly selected original coaster from a collection of six designs with every collaboration menu item purchased.
A wide selection of exclusive merchandise featuring the newly illustrated artwork will also be available both inside Share CAFE locations and online through the Anique Shop throughout the event.
The Trading Hologram Can Badges, priced at ¥660 each (approx. $5 USD / £3 GBP) or ¥3,960 per box (approx. $27 USD / £20 GBP), feature collectible character artwork with a holographic finish.
The Trading Foil Clear Cards, priced at ¥660 each (approx. $5 USD / £3 GBP) or ¥3,960 per box (approx. $27 USD / £20 GBP), offer another collectible blind-pack item featuring premium foil detailing.
The Aurora Acrylic Keyholders, priced at ¥770 each (approx. $5 USD / £4 GBP), showcase the new summer illustrations with an iridescent finish.
The Acrylic Stands, priced at ¥1,650 each (approx. $11 USD / £8 GBP), allow fans to display the new Maomao and Jinshi artwork, while the Mini Acrylic Stands are available for ¥990 each (approx. $7 USD / £5 GBP).
The Diorama Acrylic Stand, priced at ¥3,850 (approx. $26 USD / £19 GBP), recreates the collaboration artwork as a larger display piece.
The Die-Cut Stickers and Clear Files are each priced at ¥550 (approx. $4 USD / £3 GBP), while the Tote Bag is available for ¥3,300 (approx. $23 USD / £17 GBP).
Customers who spend ¥3,300 or more on eligible merchandise (approx. $23 USD / £17 GBP) will receive one randomly selected original bromide from a set of four designs, with separate designs available depending on whether merchandise is purchased in-store or online.
The collaboration café will take place from July 24 through August 9, 2026, at Share CAFE Harakado in Tokyo, Share CAFE Shinsaibashi BIGSTEP in Osaka and Share CAFE Hakata Marui in Fukuoka, with admission using a first-come, first-served reservation system that opened on July 2, 2026, although on the day entry will be available providing capacity allows.
The exclusive merchandise will be available through the Anique Shop online store from July 24, 2026, until August 24, 2026.
