Gear 4 Luffy is the latest addition to MegaHouse’s “Variable Action Heroes” One Piece figure line

Japanese hobby manufacturer MegaHouse has announced two new products in its “Variable Action Heroes” line of figures from the popular anime series, One Piece.
“Variable Action Heroes” is a series of highly articulated action figures known for its realistic sculpting and a wide range of motion that allows for dynamic posing.

The first new release is a figure of the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, in his powerful “Gear Fourth: Boundman” transformation.

This form, which he first revealed during the “Dressrosa Arc,” dramatically increases the size and power of his upper body through a combination of his rubber abilities and Haki.

The new, approximately 200mm tall figure is a dynamic recreation of this muscular form and includes two interchangeable expression parts and alternate fist parts for a variety of posing options.

The second new figure is an updated version of the antagonist, Rob Lucci.
The “Ver.1.5” figure depicts Lucci in his more recent appearance as a member of the intelligence agency, Cipher Pol “Aigis” Zero.

Rob Lucci was the primary antagonist of the “Enies Lobby Arc,” where he and Luffy engaged in one of the most intense and memorable battles in the series’ history.

The “Variable Action Heroes ONE PIECE Monkey D. Luffy Gear 4 Boundman” is priced at ¥17,600 and is scheduled to be shipped in late February 2026.
The “Variable Action Heroes ONE PIECE Rob Lucci Ver.1.5” is priced at ¥10,890 and is scheduled to be shipped in January 2026.
Pre-orders for both figures are set to begin on Thursday, the 7th of August, 2025, at 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time via most hobby goods retailers.
