Kura Sushi US Announces New Persona 30th Anniversary Collaboration

Fans of the Persona series will soon have another way to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary, as Kura Sushi USA has announced an upcoming collaboration with the hit JRPG series.
The Persona series first debuted in 1996 with Revelations: Persona and has since grown into one of ATLUS’ most acclaimed RPG franchises, combining dungeon-crawling, turn-based combat, and social simulation mechanics across multiple generations of games.

The announcement comes during a milestone period for the series, with Persona 4 Revival scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, and Persona 6 also officially announced earlier this year as ATLUS continues to expand one of its biggest franchises.

Promotional artwork released alongside the announcement features chibi versions of iconic characters from Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5, indicating that all three modern entries in the series will be represented during the event.

While full details have yet to be revealed, Kura Sushi USA has confirmed that the collaboration will include special menu items alongside limited rewards that customers will be able to collect during the promotion.

Kura Sushi has become well known for blending dining with entertainment through features such as its Bikkura Pon! prize system, where customers can win exclusive themed collectibles after inserting finished sushi plates into the restaurant’s automated game system.

The chain has previously partnered with a number of major anime and gaming franchises, including Jujutsu Kaisen and, most recently, Honkai: Star Rail, with collaborations regularly featuring exclusive merchandise and themed menu offerings.

Although Kura Sushi USA has not announced a launch date for the Persona collaboration, the current Honkai: Star Rail campaign is scheduled to end on July 31, making August 1 a likely start date, though this has not been officially confirmed.

Further details, including participating menu items, exclusive rewards, and merchandise, are expected to be announced by Kura Sushi USA closer to the collaboration’s launch.
