Exclusive “Harajuku Chopper” figure to be released to celebrate 1st anniversary of ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE HARAJUKU
The official “ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE HARAJUKU” is set to celebrate its first anniversary with a series of special events and exclusive new products.
The celebration is based around a new piece of original artwork titled “HARAJUKU CHOPPER 1st anniversary.”
This new, colorful, and pop-art-styled visual was created by Midori Matsuda, who is a character designer for the One Piece television anime series.
The highlight of the anniversary event is the release of a new, high-quality collectible figure.
The figure, “TOEI ANIMATION COLLECTION -HARAJUKU CHOPPER-,” is a three-dimensional recreation of the unique, Harajuku-fashion-themed version of the character Tony Tony Chopper that is found inside the store.
The pre-painted, complete figure is described as being of exceptional quality, using over one hundred different colors in its paint application.
This new figure will be an exclusive item, with its permanent in-store sales limited to the Harajuku location only.
As a special bonus for those who cannot visit the store, an exclusive gift will be offered for online purchasers.
Customers who buy the figure from the ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store Online will receive a free, exclusive acrylic stand featuring the new first-anniversary artwork.
In addition to the figure, the anniversary celebration will include a variety of other events exclusive to the Harajuku location.
These include the sale of other Harajuku-limited goods, a novelty gift-with-purchase promotion, food and drink collaborations within the Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado” complex, and a special “Chopper’s Cotton Candy Shop.”
The “TOEI ANIMATION COLLECTION -HARAJUKU CHOPPER-” figure is priced at ¥12,100 (approx. $82 USD/£61 GBP).
The first-anniversary event and the in-store release of the figure are scheduled to begin on Saturday, the 23rd of August, 2025.
The store is located at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado” G-Floor, 6-31-21 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
The figure will be released on the ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store Online website on Friday, the 29th of August, 2025, at 1:00 PM Japan Standard Time.
