Draw This, Then Die! Anime Unveils New Trailer and Cast Members
A new teaser trailer and a “Lost World” visual have been released for the upcoming anime adaptation of Draw This, Then Die!, which is scheduled to begin its broadcast in July 2026.
The coming-of-age series will air every Friday at 23:30 on the Nippon TV network starting in July 2026.
Director Hiroaki Akagi, known for his work on The Dangers in My Heart, is leading the project at studio Shin-Ei Animation.
The production features series composition by Hiroko Fukuda, character designs by Kenji Sagawa, and a musical score composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi.
The expanded voice cast includes Akira Sekine as Ai Yasumi, Saori Hayami as Rei Teshima, and Saya Hitomi as Kokoro Fujimori.
Other cast members announced include Kanon Fujimura as Sachi Akafuku, Inori Minase as Hikaru Sekiryu, and Noriko Hidaka as Pokota.
The lineup is completed by Atsumi Tanezaki as Nana Teramura, Yukana as Hana Kongoji, and Kikuko Inoue as Hebichika-sensei.
The story follows Yasumi Ai, a high school student from Izu Oshima whose passion for manga leads her to a life-changing encounter with a reclusive creator named Hoshino-sensei at Comitia.
The original manga by Minoru Toyoda is published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment and explores the complex nature of artistic creation and genius.
