Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Téa Gardner Joins Kotobukiya’s Affordable OSHI WORKS Figure Series
Japanese figure manufacturer Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for a surprisingly affordable new statue based on the popular anime series Yu-Gi-Oh!.
The “OSHI WORKS Anzu Mazaki/Téa Gardner Figure” captures the key character from the series in a detailed, 1/7 scale sculpt.
The OSHI WORKS line centers its product lineup around the concept of “Oshi,” a Japanese term that refers to a fan’s favorite character, while maintaining accessible pricing for collectors.
Yu-Gi-Oh! features Anzu Mazaki, who is widely known to western audiences under the name Téa Gardner in the English localized version of the series, as Yugi Muto’s dedicated childhood friend and a second-year student at Domino High School.
She deeply values the bonds of friendship, consistently looking out for Yugi, protecting him from school bullies, and she was among the very first individuals to recognize the distinct presence of the Dark Yugi personality.
Anzu is also an accomplished dancer who harbors dreams of moving to New York after graduation to pursue a professional dancing career.
This 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 23 cm tall and captures her in the signature blue Domino High School uniform.
The sculpt meticulously recreates natural-looking folds and wrinkles of her uniform jacket and pleated skirt.
Her distinctive short, layered hairstyle is also faithfully recreated, utilizing careful partial airbrushing to enhance the shadows and create a more vivid overall light and shadow effect across the hair pieces.
The figure stands on a specialized display base emblazoned with the official Yu-Gi-Oh! logo.
The base is equipped with a magnetic connector on the side that allows it to link up with other figures in the same lineup, making it a perfect display companion for previously released characters like Mai Valentine, as well as monsters like the Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
The “OSHI WORKS Anzu Mazaki Figure” is priced at 8,800 yen (approx. $57 USD/£45 GBP) and pre-orders can now be placed via reputable hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
The official release/shipping for the figure is scheduled for November 2026.
