Sailor Moon Reveals First Look at Exclusive New Outer Senshi Collection
Image by James RichardsonSailor Moon is getting a new limited-edition collection dedicated to the Outer Sailor Guardians, with just 500 deluxe box sets due to be produced.
The new “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon – The Guardians of the Outer Planets Deluxe 5-piece Box Set” collects five FiGPiNs together in a special release created for New York Comic Con 2026.
Created by Naoko Takeuchi, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon follows Usagi Tsukino as she discovers her identity as Sailor Moon and joins forces with other Sailor Guardians to protect Earth and the wider Solar System.
Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn are known as the Outer Sailor Guardians, joining the wider team later in the story and often operating separately from Sailor Moon and the Inner Sailor Guardians.
Their appearances also introduced some of the franchise’s most recognizable weapons and Talismans, including Uranus’ Space Sword, Neptune’s Deep Aqua Mirror, Pluto’s Garnet Rod and Saturn’s Silence Glaive.
FiGPiN has been releasing officially licensed Sailor Moon collectibles since 2022, combining hard-enamel character artwork with a patented backer that allows each pin to either be worn or displayed upright like a miniature figure.
Each FiGPiN also carries its own engraved serial number that can be unlocked through the company’s app, allowing collectors to register individual pins digitally alongside their physical collection.
The new box set follows several Sailor Moon releases from FiGPiN during 2026, including a limited Super Sailor Chibi Moon pin released for San Diego Comic-Con and a second series of Sailor Moon Mystery Minis.
Sailor Moon merchandise has also continued expanding for US fans this year, with Hot Topic recently releasing new official accessories including a Cosmic Heart-inspired hair pin and a five-piece bracelet set themed around the Inner Sailor Guardians.
Image by James RichardsonBandai has meanwhile returned to the earliest years of the anime with the new “Moon Stick -Resparkle-“, the first release in a collectible series created to revive classic Sailor Moon toys for modern adult collectors.
Image by James RichardsonThe Outer Sailor Guardian box set will be offered as a pre-order exclusive through FiGPiN at the Toei Animation booth during New York Comic Con, which runs from October 8 through October 11, 2026.
Only 500 sets will be available, with customers at Booth 2633 receiving a redemption code that can be used through the FiGPiN website to complete their order and arrange free delivery to their home.
The “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon – The Guardians of the Outer Planets Deluxe 5-piece Box Set” is currently expected to ship in December 2026, with FiGPiN yet to announce its price.
